The guy looks ready to be a major contributor from day 1.  He can shoot, he can create his own shots, and he's shown he can drive and dish  Next years team is going to have a lot of depth, and a lot of versatility.  Glad Coach B is coming back, so we can see him work his magic.

You don't have to look hard to see a lot of Kyrie's game. I'm the most excited about this recruit because I feel he is going to be truly special. Maybe our best PG in the Beilein era...

Think he's going to jump past Brooks from day 1 and at minimum be the backup PG. I like Z starting because of his defensive abilities and it will not be his 3rd year in the system. But guys like DeJulius could be huge spark plugs off the bench. We didn't have a good scoring option at PG off the bench last season and this guy is just what Beilein needed, plus he can make 3s and free throws.

DD reminds me much more of Derrick Walton than Trey Burke; he has a little bit of a stockier build and doesn't seem to have Trey's acceleration. Plus, similar to Walton, DD looks like he might have trouble finishing in the paint at the college level.  I think he will be like Walton in terms of being an excellent shooter from 3, running the offense efficiently and attacking hard closeouts but not being elite in terms of creating one-on-one off the bounce.

To be clear, I am very excited about DD - Walton was excellent as a senior and would have hit his ceiling earlier if not for the injuries. I think DD will push Z this season and will be the better option at times.  They should complement each other well.

While certainly good news ... last  years team had chemistry, which was likely developed with the B1G tourney run the year before.  Mo's enthusiasm will be missed ... but next year MBB could be very exciting to watch develop.

We had chemistry but not a whole lot of talent. 2018 and 2019 are gonna be loaded with talent. The key is for the team to gel together by the time big ten play roles around. Meaning don’t freak out if they start out 8-5. The schedule starts out very strong so it is a possibility but I have no doubt by February this team will be playing on an elite level
