Free Beer Alert - Habitat for Humanity Fundraiser Tomorrow Night @ HOMES Brewery

Submitted by bigdemo on January 23rd, 2019 at 11:09 AM

My buddies at HOMES Brewery in Ann Arbor (map) are putting on a charity beer event tomorrow night (details below) and tickets still remain (here).  The initiative is called “The House That Beer Built”. If you are into Barrell Aged Sours and great food, would love to see you there.

I decided to try and assist in the effort, so HomeSure Lending will be hosting an after party from 8-10p. We will grab MGoReaders first beer. Please consider an in-kind (or more) cash donation into the bucket. Obviously, go to the HOMES event if you can. It will be great, but either way, find me after the event ends for a beer ticket.

We’ve teamed up with Huron Valley Habitat for Humanity and several local breweries for “The House That Beer Built” - a collective effort to raise funds for and build a home in our community, for a family in need.

For the event, we’ll be serving 5 of our favorite barrel aged sours paired with 5 small bites.

I went to HOMES back in August and was extremely impressed with both the beer and the food.  If I lived in Michigan, I would jump all over that even though it is a little pricey for a beer pairing dinner.  They had me at barrel aged sour beers.
