Frank Clark acting stupid (again.)

Submitted by The Krusty Kra… on
I'm not going to be so naive to think that A. Anyone who is accused of or commits domestic violence cannot change, but I also know the NFL will never care enough when athletically gifted individuals who make the league money treat women like shit. Frank Clark decided to tell a writer (who had the audacity to once write about his domestic violence issues) that he has a job for her cleaning his fish tank once she washes out of journalism. I'm not asking for people to be perfect but what a stain he left behind in leaving the program how he did and his actions since. http://deadsp.in/rlze6C2

vicious thing several years ago. UM rightfully punted him.

However, a condescending comment about a reporter's career field is just noise. If this is the type of dumb things that Frank does now, it's a big improvement over the hotel and no lasting impact.

Some of these comments are pretty funny to me.

"I don't see what the big deal is. He's being an ass/piece of shit but it's better than he's previous actions so who cares. He's getting better."

His previous actions put him about as high on the POS scale as you can go. Because this incident is lower on that scale (but still definitely on it) we shouldn't be talking about it? Even worse, we should brush it aside/give him credit because it's an "improvement"? That's backwards as fuck.

Also everyone needs to STFU about this not being newsworthy. We turned Cardale Jones tweeting "I ain't come here to play school" into a national story. If that's a national story, a former player who was kicked off our team after domestic abuse charges, tweeting something demeaning unprompted at a female reporter who criticized him in the past, is at least an MGoBlog story if not more.

Is Clark, Hitler? Is CTE funny? Man this is the dumbest post ever! How can anyone not see that some of the righteous people on here are full-blown bigots. CTE is funny. Yeah see if you can consume that!

Mama made a phone call...as did the Seahawks' headquarters.

It's like the scene in Vacation after Chevy jumps into the pool with Christie Brinkley, gets scorned by the guests, and then jumps into the pool with Beverly D'Angelo and gets the thumbs up.

He's got the public fake apology, but he really needs to work on the complete act. Here's a few of the tweets he's liked...

average poster here will give some athletes and how quickly they'll turn on others to flex their modern day man muscles. Frank Clark grew up under horrible circumstances, that was his conditioning, his example of right and wrong. Most here I would guess endured nothing of the sort and yet are quick to take credit for the conditions in which they were raised. It doesn't excuse anything but it should at least shield him from the self righteous prigs. I'm rooting for Clark to make good on his promise and I don't think he should be denied the right to take offense.

If people don't react negatively, he won't learn. Backlash - whether it's from one person close to you or a million people far away - is sometimes what brings about change. If Clark sees that even Michigan fans aren't supporting him or laughing with him when he does stupid stuff, then that's a good thing. Of course, he's probably not reading this thread, but I imagine this is similar to things being said on Twitter, on other sites, etc.
