Football Season Ticket Upgrade Seating Released

Submitted by MLaw06 on

For those of you who have requested football season ticket seating upgrades, they have been released online on the mgoblue.com site.  When you go to the main page, click on "Tickets", then "My Account", then log in with your user name and password.  Then click again on "My Account", and then click on "View my Order History".  Your 2015 season ticket locations should appear on the order history page when you click on the hyperlink "Football Season" and then on "view seats".

It's a bit of a maze, but hopefully, you'll find some good news.

As for me, I upgraded 4 of my seats to lower rows within my section and got Row B.  I can smell the astro turf!!

Wondering why I didn't request an upgrade/row closer to the field this year. Would have been a great time since I would guess it will be more difficult in future years

I sat for almost 25 years in Section 5 before moving in 2009.  Two in row 63 & four in row 36.  Not a bad view (once you get used to  looking at everything on an angle) but you sit kity-corner from the students so you'll need to really bring it during the GO - - - BLUE chants to keep up with them.

One oddity - lines would always be long at Section's 4, 3 & 2 before the game but we in Section 5 always sailed right in.  I know we had GREAT ushers so maybe that's why cause I dont think there was any differece in the number of people trying to get in.

I missed the request part of the application, so I just emailed the ticket office directly and asked for one.  Throughout the whole process I basically just bugged the hell out of the ticket office, hoping I could work my way out of the end zone despite it being my first year, and it looks like I pulled it off.

Did you request the upgrade in the form?

Also, you should make your request broad in order for the probability to get it higher.

I.e., a good request would be - "please upgrade me to the "Maize" or "Blue" tier and any row lower than "Row 60".

A bad request would be (1) - "please upgrade me to better seats" (too generic, they will have no idea what you want) or (2) "please upgrade me to row A or B in Section 1."  (way too specific and competitive to get)

I asked to move closer to the 50 yard line on either side of the field. Said I wouldn't mind being a bit higher, but not too high.

I asked them about it and they mentioned to be more specific about not being "too high". Still I was disappointed after extending out with my donation.

this year, and ended up in Section 35 (I requested the north end-zone Secion 36) in Row 46 on the aisle.  So cant complain.  Considering I live in Texas and only make it home for 3-4 games a season, wanted to keep my PSD down by staying in the end zone.  Already have my flights and hotel arranged for Oregon State, Northwestern, Michigan State and Ohio State! 97 Days and counting til the season begins!!!!!

of everyone in this thread.  If I'm lucky I can make the time to see two games in person each year, but most often it's only one.

I need to get a lawn service, or a housekeeper, a new job, a different wife, or anything that will help me get my weekends back!

Does anyone have a link to a good seating chart with seat numbers.  I can find ones that give row numbers but I am curious if my new seats are close to an asile.

Can we get some kind of loyalty program that reduces ticket prices every year you renew to get rid of all the fairweathers in our stadium so we never have to deal with 40,000 people not showing up like last year?

IMHO, I am not sure a discount program would help - ask DB how the Coke and Groupon promotions worked.  It was the bad product/schedule on the field that made people not come, and especially when you have players like Devin F. with his "just statistics" comment, you could tell that the team had lost a lot of their spirit and drive.

Now the JH is here, I highly doubt you will see 40k no-shows as you will see a much better product on the field.

I got two additional seats in section 24, five rows behind my existing seats.  I am jacked up about this.  Very excited.  Now I can take my family and my parents (dad graduated a year or two before Schembechler was hired -- talks about all of the coolers in the student section).

I'm curious to get an official report on the season ticket waitlist.  As a proxy for fan goodwill, it has probably done a huge 180 since 12/30/14.

Didn't do any requests this first year. Got 2 seats section 19, row 80, seats 24&25. I'm happy as heck with that. Been seated all over the stadium over the years. Ps Does anyone have a link to actual seat numbers?

This is my first time as Season Ticket Holder too.  I got Section 36 Row 53 in Endzone in Corner where Desmond Howard made his 4th and 1 catch vs Notre Dame.  I am pretty happy with that location considering its my first year.  I requested that I would prefer between the 30 yard lines, but of more importance is being on a row level that was not too close to the field and not too high.  Row 53 is good (since there are 96 rows) for me to get a decent view of how the plays are developing.  I am just wondering how I can see where exactly my seats are in the row.  Is there a link or seating map with seat numbers?

Excited to be a first time season ticket holder. We got section 42 row 27 seats 17 and 18. I have spent the over 2 hours trying to get an idea where the seat numbers fall in the row. I cannot find a map with seat numbers. I see a number of others have asked for the same with no reply.  Looks like since it is the blue part of section 42 that it going to be between the 5 and the end of the endzone. But I would really like to know there it is and how close to the aisle (left or right of the aisle especially, I am hoping left of the aisle). No matter where the seats fall in the section I am still excited.
