now. I got to see much of the first half on my ipad while at my kids' soccer game.

I thought we'd win by 50 (once the first half ended)--so I'm curious about the 2nd half, but still thrilled with the progress, the defense and Ruddock starting to seem more confident.

I'm now at the point where I really don't think Harbaugh was trying to do anything in the second half besides practice some plays he wants to see executed with a higher degree of accuracy and run down the clock. We definitely got some yardage, but it was an absolute destruction of the play clock. BYU could hardly hold onto the ball for more than a minute or two at a time before we wasted yet another 8 minutes. Not great last year when we were always down and trying to claw back, but great when you're riding a 31-0 score and the defenseis not allowing the other team to move the chains.

At first I was a bit concerned that we suddenly couldn't put up points on BYU the 2nd half.  But I agree--it's clear they pretty much went into a shell.

Save some of the additional wrinkles for Big Ten play, fine tune some of the vanilla stuff, limit injuries, and that's about it.  The D was kept on longer than necessary so they could get their shutout.  The O was kept on a bit longer than normal because Harbaugh is still installing his system, the new staff getting to know the starters better during in-game action, getting Rudock additional live snaps with the first team, etc.

In Harbaugh Year 3 I'd expect to see the 2nd team to probably go in a bit earlier.

My Comcast guide shows that BTN in 60 is on but doesn't say what game. I want to DVR the Michigan game if it's on later today. Can anyone fill me in on what time slot will be Michigan again? Thanks!
