I usually listen to the college sports station on siriusxm radio in the mornings, and one of the first things mentioned were Michigan's new uniforms. It's crazy how much attention this is getting. Yes Michigan's uniforms are classic and iconic and probably don't need alternates, but it's for one freakin game. It's ridiculous.

Yep...  I normally tune in to bits and peices of the 4PM show, and it was the same thing yesterday - how awful the unis were and that UM doesn't need to do that stuff.  Yeah, I agree - they're awful and UM doesn't need to.  Except they did.  And call it what it is - a money grab that Nike asked for/expected/demanded from both schools, which are under contract with YUUUGE dollar amounts.

I think the banana show will induce laughs from coast to coast, but it is what it is...

He:  Would you sleep with me for a million dollars?

She:  A million dollars?  Of course.

He:  Would you sleep with me for a dollar?

She:  What kind of girl do you think I am?

He:  We've already established what kind of girl you are, now we're just negotiating price.

Moral of the story:  If you don't want to do the deed, don't take the money.

We took the money.  Hello: Bananaformz.

but for comparison, Wilson is several spots below Ambry Thomas on 247's rankings. One might argue he'll be fine as a good recruit going against an offense replacing all it's WRs, but as a 180 lb true freshman, I'd bet if he's marched out there that he'll be notably victimized at least once.

Of course, this presents the same lingering issue - for Michigan as well as others, the depth chart is never the depth chart per se, and in any case, it isn't as if releasing now would drastically change Michigan's game prep even if they assume for a moment that it was in fact Jim McElwain being honest.

I will say, however, that I do enjoy the speculation - even if it is sometimes unfounded - that depth charts generate.

Based on what the Florida boards are saying, they do think their OL is thin.  Basically only 6 deep. If Ivey can't play the whole game & they insert that 6th man, apparently it's a pretty steep drop to guy #7.

Apparently it's a similar situation with their LB corps.  Their defensive scheme tends to require a lot of LBs on the field, and they've got very little depth.  If any of the LBs get injured or gassed by the 4th quarter, it could create problems for them on that level of the D.

Besides Martel Ivey, their entire O line is all low three stars. On top of that they are all true juniors or sophomores. We should be able to stuff the run game and slow down an inexperienced QB. I dont see how they will be able to put up more than 20 points in this one.

Having arguably the most athletic DE straight up against your best lineman.  I'll take Gary.  Plus you'll have those interior linemen attempting to double Hurst and Mone.  Could leave some wide gaps for our fast LBs to blitz through.  Inexperienced QB being rushed with no proven WRs to throw to.  Could see a lot of arm punts if he can chuck them up fast enough.

I know Harbaugh does "OR" but there is one position you don't want an "OR" and that is QB. If they have not truly decided on a QB by now they are in a bigger trouble than I thought.
