Flight Tracking Part Deux

Submitted by Wolverine318 on

It is that time again! As originally tweeted by VarsityBlue.  What we have here is a flight heading from Ann Arbor to Hollywood, Fl (which is slightly north of Miami). Gee....Could DB be on the flight? Or Perhaps MSC too? Or it could just be some researchers heading down the U.

If someone like Maria Menunos can have photographers following her around taking photos of her lady parts at the beach, Brandon and Mary Sue Coleman should at least have one MGoMember following each of them with a camera too, right?  C'mon people!  Lets do this!

Anyone else notice that the flight goes directly over Knoxville? Oh no, DB is going to talk to Phillip Fulmer, or maybe Pat Summitt? The first female coach in CFB history, Noooooooo!

any way to check how many people are aboard that plane?

telling news would be if more return than it left with.

"Hollywood" is the main Fort Lauderdale airport.

This is actually its first flight at 469RJ; it landed at Willow Run yesterday as 469AL!  For what it's worth, it is Ypsilanti based, and gets around a lot, although I can see no connection to UM or the football program in general.  Perhaps someone with a better font of knowledge can suss out any relation between the destinations and the athletic department.

That's the part that makes me thinks Michigan officials are on the plane. Why would random people fly from Willow Run to Miami, and only stop for 90 minutes then continue on to California? That makes no sense.

please fasten your safety belts and return tray tables to their upright position.

we have begun our descent and will be landing in 34 minutes.

weather in hollywood florida is party cloudy and 76 degrees.

thank you for flying coaching carousel airlines!

Plane just landed in Lubbock.

Could be a secret meeting with Gary Patterson.  Or it could just be a pit stop on the way to Cali.

Also, flight plans shows a trip to Palm Springs.  Is that the possible rendezvous pt with *gulp* Hoke?

Well, the plane was indeed in Lubbock only to fuel up.  It's back in the air and on the way to Van Nuys.

Van Nuys is the busiest general aviation airport in the world.  It's used by Hollywood celebs, etc, because of its privacy and secrecy.

From there, its onto Palm Springs.

Stephen Ross is apparently flying to CA to make a last-ditch pitch for Harbaugh.  Whether it's for UM or the Dolphins is unknown.

Seems to be Dolphins, as the GM is with them too:

Addtionally, from the article:

Ross, who is one of Michigan's largest benefactors, was assured by a Michigan official that Harbaugh was not reciprocating interest in the college's now-vacant head coaching position.

I think that earlier comment about Miami with harbaugh is true.

From my extensive flight aware search earlier (see last comment in thread)

http://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/cc-anyone-know-if-u-m-plane-near-orange-bowl

that plane should be

http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N510SR/history

if you don't have flightaware account, i suggest registering a free one, and you can see the activity of past 4 months. "Related" companies, owned by Stephen Ross, has 2 gulfstream planes and have visited Ann Arbor on gamedays (see willow run stops)

One of them is this N510SR

Another interesting bit, the N220DF plane shared by Brandon and Domino's (again, see the orange bowl plane thread for explanation), had just visited Chicago Executive airport, one of the closest airport to evanston, IL .... Not saying that it means pat fitzgerald but certainly interesting.

A poster on scout claims DB is supposed to meet with JH in Scottsdale tomorrow.  DB has a vacation home in Scottsdale, Arizona.  (this is a fact)

That plane was also in Jacksonville for the Gator Bowl, made a stop in Chicago yesterday (right before the Pat Fitzgerald staying at Northwestern tweets started?). I think the Gruden rumor is batcrazy but he'll be in the Scottsdale/Glendale area to do the national championship game on ESPN Radio. Hopefully DB fellates JH on the 50 yard line during the halftime show and JH retires when he's 87 with 40 wins against OSU.
