First trip to Crisler: Cool story bro
I brought my five year old daughter (father daughter trip) to the BB game yesterday. I bought tix on Stubhub for $7.50 each the day of the UM's public sale. Our seats were in section 220 row 6. She was attemting to shoot baskets in the Kidzone when we were awarded the Stubhub fans of the day. Thus, we got courtside seats. At the under twelve timeout we were on the videoboard.
She did not understand the magnitude of getting to sit that close. I was shaking and in tears when we got to our seats. Hope I am not the only one that crazy about my fandom. She was more interested in the cheerleaders, dancers, and band.
We will never forget our first trip to Crisler and not just because of the upset. It would have been awesome even without the upgraded seats. My daughter Riley says (despite living in Ohio), "we don't like the red team we like Michigan." She topped off her visit with a mini football, necklace, and "you wish you could shoot like girl" shirt from MDen.
I had to share this story with people that might appreciate it. It was too cool not to and I thought it would be a good thing to take our minds off of the CC and the worthless nuts getting into the CoFoPo.

Our team was distracted by the dude crying in the front row and that's why they lost.

I can't seem to recall if there was one. The players certainly didn't show up.

I was there with my son. Saw you guys on the Board. Nice moment. Too bad the game stunk.

They told us to wear or hold up the shirts and go "crazy." So, that is what I told her and that was her "crazy."

But....it would've been cooler if Jim Harbaugh was sitting next to your daughter!

It took before Harbaugh was mentioned. Lol
Great story. Yeah , my 9 year old is still interested in the dancers and halftime activities. The 11 and 15 year olds get into the game. Good job dad!

Sounds like a nice day with your Daughter! At the end of the day, win or lose, you and her will remember the day for a long time.

Doing what you did when you got courtside seats is okay by me.
Cool story bro indeed

a great story. Take your daughter once a year and make it a tradition. She will be applying to UM before you know it.

That is a cool story. I wanted to take my 7 year old son to that game (also from Ohio, also would've been first trip to Crisler) but we had an important church thing.
Our first game will be Tuesday night. Hoping for no upsets.

Commericialism can not shine brighter than making things like this happen. Fun!
Still...stay out of the stadium (of course).

i tell my 4 y old boy the red team is mean and not nice. The maize and blue are nice and helpful, at 4 theyre to innocent to over analyze.

with the red cheerleaders are bad. I tell her a lot of people like the red team (where we live) but it is alright to be different.
