I don't really care either way as I don't follow the NFL, but your argument is beyond stupid. He isn't coaching Wake Forest, so what he did there is irrelevant. Like him or not Caldwell is has the secon best winning percentage (.557) of any Lions coach since 1966. Only Gary Moeller, who coached 7 games in 2000 has a better percentage (.571)

still has no clue what the red challenge flag is and how to use it. WTF is he saving it for, to decorate his Christmas Tree? He absolutely should have challenged the call on the Tate catch. As unthinkably bad as it is that he didn't use the challenge flag on that one particular crucial call, it especially becomes a head-scratcher when you look at the fact that it's far from the first time he has failed to challenge a crucial bad call this season.

Offer Jack Harbaugh as large of a front office role as he wants with the edict to convince his son John to come to Detroit.

I want to see the brothers Harbaugh working close to each other.

But if they win next week that will give him three winning seasons in four years. The Lions have a mediocre roster and that is what they have achieved. I could see the Lions bringing him back,

I dont see how Caldwell survives this. Hes not Quinns guy and hes not the guy to take us to the next level. Id like to think that this is a similar position to the Wings when they fired a successful Bryan Murray and brought in Bowman in 1993. The groundwork has been laid and we are a draft or 2 away from being able to compete with the elite. All we need is the right coach to finish what has been started.
