Fanatic!

Submitted by PIJER on
Saturday is the beginning of what needs to be the best year of the fan(atic)! I have been to my share of games, and I think that we need to step up our level as fans to help the team. I know that the additions to the stadium is going to help with acoustics, but I challenge us all to be louder than ever. We need to transform ourselves, as the team has transitioned (hopefully), to new and improved and down right ROWDY! We already have the most people in the stadium, let's make the big house the most difficult place to play in the nation!

The diehard fans need to take back the stadium. And for all the fair-weather, down in front fans. Get up, or get out. You go to games to support the team, not sit back and watch, waiting for something good or bad to happen to react. Be a part of the solution, not part of the problem. As for bad things happening, they are going to, expect it and still cheer. ANYONE BOOING THIS TEAM AFTER THE REVELATIONS CONCERNING THE SACRIFICES THEY ARE MAKING, LEAVE AND NEVER COME BACK. I don't care if they fumble 5 times in the first quarter, give up 7 big plays and are down 21-0 with no hope in site. If you boo, you don't deserve the space in the stadium. Plain and simple. These kids are giving it their all and enduring quite a bit of hardship it would seem and at very least they deserve the miniscule amount of effort it would take for you to show some appreciation. To the true fans on here, if you see or hear any booing on Saturday, make your presence known, don't just sit and take it. Get in their face, let them know EXACTLY what kind of fans they are and that they are no longer wanted in OUR stadium. Let's let them know that they are in the minority and that they won't be tolerated anymore. If everyone that objects in the vicinity of these fans speaks up, they will realize that there are more of us than they think and may perhaps be persuaded to watch the games from the comfort of their coach next week/season and create space for real fans.
