Staged. Most of these things are done by design. Most of these viral videos usually are done by some type of promotional/marketing group from that team or arena. The clips from "controversial" kiss cam videos, or mascots shoving a shaving cream pie in an opposing fans face -- are mostly staged with paid actors. This looks like one of those, clearly.

This is 100% stages. That guy is part of an improv group in Minnesota. He did a workshop with my office a few years ago where he talked about the 2003 one being staged.

Even if it was staged (and the way it was done lends credence to that), the build-up to his dance was rather well-executed and the dance itself - even the revealing of the message, if you will - was pretty entertaining. Garnett's acknowledgement of it was cool as well, I thought. Whoever put it together, nicely done indeed.

Think we can get this guy to put JH on his chest and dance like nobody was watching?

If you missed it, this was from an Men's Journal article that came out in early January.  It's a good read.  LINK

Yes, it was staged, but it was done very well.  The set up was great and the fan sold the not dancing thing great.

This is the type of wow factor thing that Brandon should have gone for.  Guys that become infamous on their own.  I've said this before, but about 6 years or so ago, there was a Hot Dog Man in the crowd, who came up with an amazing amount of hot dogs out of no where and got the student section up and having fun during a quarter break. The one time I saw him, he got kicked out. I always thought it would have been much better to see him "sponsered" by UofM (i.e. give the man a bunch of hotdogs to do every game), but don't tell anyone.

Great work by the Timberwolves, fan, and KG.
