This happened when Toronto F.C. visited Crew stadium early in the MLS season, as well. I just can't stand that town...There is a guy who lives across the street from my parents (in the A2 area) who is a HUGE osu fan, and he always says "oh, well it's a shame, but that kind of stuff happens everywhere." Everywhere???? I don't think so...even our couch burning friends to the north are no where near as classless or crazy as those in "rural mississipi of the north"...

No but the couch burning friends a bit farther southeast of C-bus did dump trash cans on "The U" one game as they were coming out of their "Away" tunnel.  Nearly started a brawl.  Classy?  No.  Funny.  Sorta mainly because everyone hates on "The U."

The whole soccer Hooligan deal is pretty stupid.  There's making noise.  There's intimidating the other team with cheers and chants.  There's spending hours on a blog page writing about your favorite team.  And then there's the dumbasses who show up specifically to fight and either hurt someone or get hurt.  This ain't Fight Club.  I can find a way to "be alive" without having to roll with someone from the other teams so-called fans.  That's just stupid.

I have made it a point in my life to never go to that shit-hole city, I won't even drive through it. If I'm driving from Cincinnati to Cleveland, I'd rather drive through Texas than through Columbus.

First off - The Pacers (mostly that POS Artest) started that whole ruckus, Second - the Palace isn't in Detroit, Thirdly - UofM is not in Detroit, or in Auburn Hills for that matter.
