ESPN Tournament Challenge - Filling Out Your Brackets Open Thread

Submitted by Saint_in_Blue on March 17th, 2013 at 4:14 PM

So this is an Open Thread dedicated to filling out your brackets. There is a group on ESPN Tournament Challenge already created. Click this ----> http://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/espn-tournament-challenge-mgoblog-group and follow the instructions to get signed up and be ready to fill out your brackets after the selection show.

This a wide open tournament this year and there looks to be really good match-ups all over the field. No easy breaks this year on the road to the Final Four! Go Blue!

Not trying to jack your thread but I didn't want to start a thread for a simple question. When is the women's bracket announced? And does anyone know if the U-M ladies will be in? Thanks & Go Blue!

And to answer your post, there is so much unpredictability this year...I might just choose my brackets based off of the mascots (kidding...maybe)

I actually am in a couple bracket pools this year, including the MGoBlog challenge, but someone at the office was actually doing a version of squares - similar to the Super Bowl tradition - for the NCAA Tournament. I bought a couple squares at $5 each, but I had never seen it done this way before. Has anyone else run into that?

As for the MGoBlog pool, I am personally hoping for some redemption. I tried to be clever about it last year and found myself in the 91st percentile, which is somewhere between New Coke and the   square of the Mendoza Line.

Crap.  I do not like this.  South Dakota?  They have that good point guard... and we've never dealt well with those this season.  I hope I don't see another App. State.

Too hard

Will have a go later but the way this reg season played out there's a lot of parity and there's very little certainly. It's good for TV and drama but it's bad for the bracket

I expect to get knocked out early

This took a frusturating amount of time. Screwed up my account pretty bad, had to make a new one. On ESPN I am Wolverine-In-Ohio, with my entry being called Barrett Bongiorno Entry 1. It looks like I submitted a bunch of brackets but this is the only one that should be counted.
