if the piece on Tua and his dad beating him with a belt if he didn't play well enough after high school games doesn't tell you everything you need to stay away from ESPN, I'm not sure what will.

It is clear as day people they average .5 more points a game than we do!  We are doomed! I don't even see why we should suit up for this one... Our only hopes are against teams that average less points than we do per game... Can we play Florida instead?

I hate to bring this up but...

*Three years ago when we traveled to Northwestern, we lost in double overtime.  There were 5 separate times I thought we had the win wrapped up and then every 3 point prayer NU threw up somehow went in over and over and over. It was maddening.

*Two years ago when we traveled to Northwestern, Irvin's attempted game winner was way off, NU goes coast to coast in 2 seconds and get the buzzer beater...ESPN has a clip they show ENDLESSLY for the rest of the year.

*Last year when we traveled to Northwestern, there was no miracles for once, but still a loss.  The game at Crisler was ugly and uninspired.  This one was just...stupid.

It's because of these games that I have grown a hatred towards Northwestern basketball and I'm not thrilled over the thought of playing there, all this in spite of the fact of how great our guys have looked so far.

Ken Pom gives us a 67% chance of winning.  He is predicting 66-61.  I think if we make free throws we win this game by double digits.  KenPom is much better than ESPN and has better results.
