ESPN College Gameday thread

-Did Lee Corso have a stroke? He was mumbling and stumbling through a written statement regarding Bobby Bowden and FSU's next coach. EDIT: apparently he had a stroke in May, I can't believe I didn't notice it in him until today. Maybe I should watch GameDay sober more often ;) -They had a Bobby Bowden lovefest, suggesting he's getting a raw deal from the FSU administration. -Desmond Howard talked about playing for Bo, said "Bo thought no one was bigger than the program, and he wouldn't be in this position because he would have stepped down already if the program was in decline."

"Good thing you edited it, that comment minus the edit made you look like a colossal douche. Carry on." Well, it was a serious question - I didn't know he had had a stroke, and when I noticed him mumbling he was talking about how he played at Florida State, so I thought he might have been choked up with emotion. I decided to ask Google instead of the MGoBlogBase and got my answer.

I understand. I wasn't the one that negged you. Most of us knew about the stroke, so I just assumed you would have too. Saying, "Man, did this guy have a stroke or something?" if you know he actually did is like saying, "Man, that guy seems to be out of breath, does he have lung cancer?" if you know he does. Aaaaaaanyway, I didn't have a problem with it once you explained that you actually didn't know.

Why are the constant updates from Rinaldi worth anything!? "If Tebow is cleared to play...insider news from the team is that he'll play" etc. etc. Um. NO KIDDING. 1. They're playing #4 LSU 2. If he's cleared to play, why would Meyer play Brantley? Why is this news?!
