Presser at 4:00.

You'll want to see @RandyEdsall's response to a reporter asking about shaking players' hands before today's game. http://t.co/fxBT5513wT

What makes you think he can hire a decent staff? His one good hire was Mattison and he only came because of his previous ties to Michigan. Say what you want about Brandon but at the end of the day, Hoke chose his assistants.

Unless they already have someone lined-up?  Hope they take Matt Millen, I hate his broadcasting.  Only half way through the season and already 2 big10 teams looking for new HCs.

In addition to compiling a record at New Mexico that would make a tire fire laugh perhaps, I though t I had heard Locksley was involved in an age /sex discrimination suit as will as an altercation with an assitant coach. I think the final straw was an incident where he had given a car - his son's, I think - to one of his son's childhood friends and then that guy turned around and got arrested for DWI while driving that car.

The NFL? Yes...they'll always slurp the NFL. It's literally written into their contract that they have to say "NFL" so many times and they have to show (x) amount of NFL programming. That's why Sunday's are unbearable...they don't recap college football, they just spend 6 hours previewing the NFL.

But ESPN is like TMZ Sports. The slurp whatever is the headline at the time.

They easily could be at Bama/TAMU for gameday...where are they?

We have to get off the bullshit. They want the headline, and the SEC has dominated and been the headline.

Who dominated before the SEC? USC...watch the 30 for 30 on ESPN if you don't remember. And ESPN slurped them the SAME way.

Now Harbaugh is sexy and Meyer just won a national championship...where's ESPN? Right outside the doorstep of the B1G, ready to hop on our dick.

That's all they are...headline chasers. They'll beat it down your throat even if you don't want to hear it.

The problem with the B1G is...is not that good of a conference. It's always 3 teams + 11. When the SEC was at it's peak it was a deep conference. Now it's coming back down and there's less dominance. Now you have Harbaugh doing crazy things in Ann Arbor (in terms of on field success) and we're quickly getting more attention than we've had in almost a decade.

Please believe, if this was Brady Hoke's 5-1 team. Gameday would NOT be in Ann Arbor. Exact same team. They'd be at UF/LSU or Bama/TAMU without question.

This is ALL headline based. And Harbaugh brings headlines.

Put Meyer, Harbaugh and Kelly in the same conference and ESPN won't be able to control itself. Especially if Kelly get's some dynamic Manziel type player even though he's going 9-4 every year. Then of course you have Dantonio...just laying there...in the weeds. And Franklin doing random shit to bring attention to himself. Put Bob Stitt at Rutgers and we'll be complete, top to bottom. Full of intrigue.

The SEC is #1 NOW...thus the headline whores at ESPN chase the headline

And Florida is in the SEC and a big story.

But for anyone to say it's always going to be like that...that's just wrong.

They're headline chasers and they oversaturate the big thing in sports --- ALWAYS.

If they were slurping the B1G at the time and Michigan was now #12...I bet they do a top 12 just to include us.

But they're not slurping the B1G right now. They're slurping the SEC.

It's going to take some time. Let's be real, there was a stretch were it felt like Bama or Auburn won every national championships in the past 20 years. Switch that to Michigan and OSU and they'll be on the dick...just watch.

Will he go back and shake the kids' hands again?

BTW, all kidding aside, this is a nice tradition he has before every game.  After THE ohio game on Saturday, a reporter who didn't know about the tradition asked him about it thinking that he was doing it to say good bye.  Randy let him have it in almost a Harbaugh-esque manner and left the presser.  Best of luck to him.

Good coach, bad coach, whatever - that was a dickish question by the reporter last night. Can you imagine someone coming up to you the day before you're pretty certain you're going to be laid-off and saying, "Hey, I noticed you talked to everyone at their cubicles today before you sat down and completed your TPS reports. Was that because you know you're going to be fired tomorrow?"

They need someone that makes them unique. That's what they will need to compete in a division with Michigan, OSU and MSU. They've got UA making wacky uniforms for them but they had a really boring coach. They need someone unique to make them an exciting team to watch
