Imbibing Bud Light and watching the Tigers beat up on the Sox. One is great, the other is not. The Tigers are up 8-4 going into the top of 9.

In the fall I have three TV's in my living room on game day. You should try it out.
It doesn't need to be a permanent set up. The TV from our spare bedroom and a little cheap 23 inch vizio that i bought for saturdays gets set up. It's glorious.

I've been enjoying the end of the Tigers game (trying to do so, then Joe Nathan) after a rather busy day of recitals and afterparties for my daughter. A summer of calm - relatively speaking - awaits us after her final classes on Monday, and then of course school lets out for the summer on Thursday, so life reverts to swim classes and family trips. To celebrate all this, I have some Angry Orchard cider.
Did you step away from the TV?
I started out the day with a trip to Holland with my son for a Speed Stacking competition. He finished second overall in his second competition ever so it was a good day. Great day for the drive.

too close. glad to win, but a wasted opportunity to build nathan's confidence.
as it relates to the tigers this year. it is hard enough to check up on them with the espn feed. yeesh, they are desperately trying to give their season away. fortunately tonight the bosox just couldn't quite come up with that one extra hit.
salmon plus a nothing-fancy white wine with the family after a few hours on the tractor. also went to a fly-fishing show with some of the kids. very pleasant. all quiet on the northern front tonight.
so i'm getting buck wild. jk, gluttonous amounts of sports today.
also, to update on my projector set up: spent $300 on a projector, $100 on a pair of tower speakers, unreal deal for an open box pioneer 4 hdmi receiver at best buy for $100 (brand new price was $250), $50 for an ikea stand for my projector that also serves as a dock for all my xbox 360 and ps4 controllers and games, and $40 for blackout curtain liners.

that's 110 inches of quality picture for $600. and it's very serviceable during the day. pretty proud of the set-up--unfortunately blew all my savings.
