Edit: The Indiana Goes Down @ Home to Ohio State...We Have a Chance...Beat Purdue Thread

Submitted by B-Nut-GoBlue on

Big potential looms large tonight (for those of you on the Moon, the potential is that we still have a shot at a Big Ten Title if Indiana loses tonight and we beat them Sunday, AFTER beatin Purdue tomorrow night).  We essentially become big Ohio State fans for the second year in a row.  They can pull it off, but will they?  Tune in at 9:00 on the Big Ten Network brought to you by Rotel and "I've got your 6", and find out.  EDIT: Ignore that garbage, it's on ESPN.  Sowwy.

Iowa has Illinois at home, as we speak.  This would have been a huge game for Iowa if they hadn't lost to Nebraska last week.  Now it's merely, meh-big.  Doug Gotlieb (spelling?) now on CBS Sports, has Iowa as a Last Four In; he's the only one (except for possbily me, if they can win two BTT games).

Duke at Virginia Tech, as we speak.

Arkansas at Mizzou, as we speak (if anyone is interested in Arkansas).  Arkansas is a Bubble Team to many analysts.  This would be a big Win for them.

Ugh.  Go Buckeyes.

Wow, biggest deficit of the year for IU on senior night.

They are gonna come after it on Sunday. Can't wait (knock on wood, take care of business first, etc, etc).

I know we all loved the Fab Five and the documentary was interesting, but that whole thing was more like a Shakespearean Tragedy since we didn't win it all and it led to some bad things for the BBall Program.

Also

That was hangin' on the rim by Thompson, if Burke had done that it woulda been called.

Indiana seems determined to give us a shot at the B1G title.  Last week we were just as determined to give it back.

Can we please take care of fucking business tomorrow night and set up the showdown this weekend?  Please!

They keep cutting to Dakich and Tirico, and every time they do the Spanish announcers will say something and both laugh. I feel like they're talking shit. An Anchorman-esque showdown is imminent.

Sat behind the IU bench during fab five era and they got crushed by the 93/94 team. The hatred and blatant racism by Knight and his staff during pre games was ridiculous. I was shocked listening to them and Dakich was the worse one.

Doesn't it make more sense to foul before the shot and only  allow 2 FT attempts?

Edit: Double schadenfreude: IU loss a plus for UM; an OSU win helps UM.
