Early college football betting lines

More favorable to Michigan than you might have guessed;
- 8,5 vs ND
- 6 at Wisconsin
-13.5 vs MSU
-6.5 vs OSU !
I missed one
-6.5 at PSU
I wonder how much this has to do with handing control of the offense to Gattis?

These lines are insane.
I can only imagine the odds on a bet to cover each game.
I'd like to wager my house, cars, and all assets on OSU please.
March 19th, 2019 at 10:03 AM ^
Do Not wager anything on Michigan against OSU , remember last season , we had ,I thought the best team we have had in years , and we were blown out of the stadium , most embossing game I have seen in 30 years
March 19th, 2019 at 10:25 AM ^
That is why I said I'd be taking OSU (and the points).
March 19th, 2019 at 10:32 AM ^
I'm with you. Until proven otherwise i just consider the game a loss.
March 19th, 2019 at 10:57 AM ^
I'd be interested in seeing if they would actually take these bets as posted.
March 19th, 2019 at 12:48 PM ^
Yes, you can wager these games with the lines posted. I do believe there is a max bet though, I want to say $250 or $500
March 19th, 2019 at 12:45 PM ^
I did feel very embossed over that game as well.
My God

This is the year! -signed every Michigan fan for the last decade
Really though, if we cant get it done this year, we never will. Senior QB who's one of the nations best, very good to elite OL (for a change), elite WR's, very good TE's, quality RB's, elite special teams.
If Donny Brown can continue to exceed expectations on defense, there is no reason we shouldn't go 11-1 and win the Big Ten.
March 19th, 2019 at 10:26 AM ^
“This is the year!!” - couldn’t have been me in 2008-2015, 2017
March 19th, 2019 at 11:15 AM ^
Sorry, but giving up 62 is not exceeding expectations.
March 19th, 2019 at 10:01 AM ^
I would wager an amount of money that would cripple me on OSU. All the others but Wisconsin seem a tad high.
I think the MSU one is good. Their O isn’t going to improve much. Even if our D regresses a bit, they are going to have their classic output against us of: 1 trick TD and hoping for missed tackles.
Assuming we actually put “speed in space,” no average team is going to be able to contain all of our weapons.
March 19th, 2019 at 10:06 AM ^
Meyer was the difference. The rivalry shifts starting this year.
I expect Michigan to cover all those games.
March 19th, 2019 at 10:29 AM ^
Meyer didn't treat Watson like a tied up goat, speed did.
Tressel was the difference, Meyer just continued it. There wasn’t any change when Meyer became the coach?
March 19th, 2019 at 10:07 AM ^
So UM goes 12-0?
March 19th, 2019 at 11:10 AM ^
Looks like Vegas has us as the 3rd best team in the country. That should be good for a solid #12 on ESPN's FPI.
March 19th, 2019 at 10:28 AM ^
6.5 on OSU? Revenge Tour!
March 19th, 2019 at 10:45 AM ^
Harbaugh needs to beat OSU at home this season. No better time with a rookie coach and a few traders on the OSU staff.
March 19th, 2019 at 10:51 AM ^
What do those people on the OSU staff trade? I'd be willing to trade with them if they're offering something good.
March 19th, 2019 at 10:55 AM ^
Ha traitor! I'd be willing to trade a lot for a win over OSU.
March 19th, 2019 at 11:38 AM ^
Tatoos
Based on recent history- probably something you can strap on.
March 19th, 2019 at 10:48 AM ^
Feels like an industrial scale troll job in Michigan fans
March 19th, 2019 at 10:49 AM ^
I have to believe the -6.5 to OSU is only because of two things: 1) we finally have the coaching advantage (for the first time since 2000!) and 2) it's a home game (not that this aspect has mattered one bit against them, though).
March 19th, 2019 at 11:27 AM ^
There's no proof we have the coaching advantage.
Please explain to me how we have a coaching advantage.
When it comes to football, we have advantages over OSU in absolutely nothing until the final score indicates otherwise. They have the talent advantage, coaching advantage, mentality advantage, you name it. Home-field advantage hasn't meant a damn thing for us in 20 years, and OSU has the massive psychological advantage of knowing they can come back from double-digit deficits and still beat us. They have the psychological advantage of knowing that they can play like dogshit all season, and then come into the Michigan game, have the lightswitch finally go on, and beat us the worst we've been beaten in the history of the rivalry. They know how to win this game. Michigan only knows how to lose it.
Sorry man, but you need to pump your brakes on Michigan having any kind of advantage over OSU.
I'll take Harbaugh, who is proven, over Ryan Day, who will be in his first year as a head coach, any day.
OSU only averaged about 56 per game when Day was running the program in the first three weeks of last season.
He's going to be good and we're going to continue to lose to them.
Day is unproven but he also is shedding some of they shackles of Meyer in getting rid of the entire defensive staff except Larry Johnson. They had a historically bad D last year, that won’t continue. While the offense likely won’t be quite as prolific, it shouldn’t need to be without the sh*tshow of a defense they had on the field last year.
March 19th, 2019 at 11:07 AM ^
Wow,
I never bet against Michigan. But it's 2019, and I don't want to be too inflexible...
March 19th, 2019 at 11:15 AM ^
Someone thinks we're going to get our offense up to the level of our defense this year. This puts tremendous pressure on the spring game. I hope Harbaugh and Gattis can handle it. Speed in space, baby!
March 19th, 2019 at 11:25 AM ^
This might actually make me bet against Michigan. -8.5 vs ND?
March 19th, 2019 at 11:34 AM ^
Those spreads are reeedicuous. I need to get in on that. It's just business.
March 19th, 2019 at 12:00 PM ^
Can anyone square this book having these lines and simultaneously having Michigan +300 to make the playoffs?
Did I miss us putting the Chargers and Bears on the schedule?
March 19th, 2019 at 12:55 PM ^
Best coach and staff in modern football era and favorable schedule - no reason we wont go undefeated and win the national championship this year, and these lines reflect that.
Best coach? What planet are we on?
Is it April 1st?
At this point there is no reason Michigan should be favored against OSU, even at home. I would have no problem betting on OSU to win even with Day as a first year head coach. This is Harbaugh’s last stand.
These lines are insane to draw early betting. Nobody believes UM will carry these lines into the season. Vegas is about separating you from your money, not accurately predicting outcomes 8 months prior to the games.
