His dad never won NFL MVP. His uncle never won the Naismith award while at Duke. Just last year, his bust of a brother couldn't even win the Heisman trophy. And now this. These McCaffreys really suck.

It only matters to those who are star obsesssed.

What does matter is that Harbaugh and his staff know what they want and sees it in a kid with one hell of a pedigree. Just look at his Dad and Brother. Besides, Michigan fans should know that rankings only tell a small part of the story with a kid and how well they'll do in college.

Dylan has all the tools to excel at the QB position in college and will have the best HC/QB position coach in the country to mold him.

Side note, IIRC from something Sam Webb mentioned a week ago, Dylan doesn't typically throw the ball down the field a lot in the offense he plays in and at The Opening he was doing a pretty darn good job throwing dimes down the field. Again, that's what I remember but maybe I miss heard.

How to Be Good
Philosophers have been debating what is good and what is not for centuries, and many people find that it's more complicated than just being kind. While every person's journey is different, being good has a lot to do with discovering yourself and your role in the world. In order to truly be good, you will have to consider what 'goodness' means to you. Perhaps this means doing good for others, or simply being an honest and kind person.

Scout updated their rankings and moved Martell UP and McCaffrey down.  Did this change the 247 Composite ranking?

Edit:  Yup, Martell is now Scout's #2 QB.

I really don't care about him dropping. What bothers me is the fact Hunter Johnson and Tate Martell weren't hurt at all by their poor showings at The Opening. Seems biased in my opinion.

I wouldn't be surprised if Martell never takes a meaningful snap for OSU.  They have good young QB's already on the roster and will get someone good next year.

I am certain they are feeling a hell of a lot more foolish than MI fans feeling angry because it's obvious by these scores, three sites were on the same page while Scount was debating the worthiness of a up and coming MLB and would have been happy with his inclusion into the top 100 club if they would have had his correct name. ]

Given this obvious blunder, we do what civilized societies do. We toss the high (Damn, that's a nice high) and the low, add and then divide 2 and 3 and come up with our 37 1/2 which places him at the desired 4.99996, good enough to keep his 5 stars but also serves warning some people might not be playing fair. A perfect spot.

Bias against Michigan. Happens every year. Opposite happens to Bama and Buckeye recruits. Lucky for us coaching matters more than the opinion of a bunch of "journalists" that create the star systems.

Wasn't he 'last' at The Opening? These rankings and stars are so meaningless in this context. So please, no replies about how '5-star' recruits are better than '1-star' ...whether McCaffrey or Martel is '4' or '5' won't matter at all during the next few years. Plus I give the edge to Dylan ....QBs names Tate tend to be weak.

They were really bothered that the girls wanted to talk to his bro. If he can't close the deal with the ladies, he can't have a 5th star. How can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat?
