Duke won't even let Paulus play QB
Duke's coach, David Cutcliffe, has extended the opportunity for Paulus to stay at Duke...as a wide receiver.
Could he realistically run the spread here?

Could he run the spread? Maybe. At least some amount of depth though.
Can he run Cutcliffe's offense? No. At least not in one year.
Aside from the spread offense and everything, I think it's funny that this guy is good enough to play QB at UofM but not at a football powerhouse like Duke. Maybe he doesn't fit into C's offense perfectly but at least give the kid a chance. There's no risk considering he only has one year left and he could give their offense another dimension on "wild-cat" type plays. This would also enable him to finish his basketball career at Duke. But hey Michigan can definitely use some depth at QB.
I think his basketball career is over regardless as he has played four seasons. I think he can play football in his fifth year of college because he has never played college football.
I think people are overlooking the fact that he is a smart kid and wants to go to Michigan for his Master's potentially...but wants to play football first. I don't think this means Paulus is going to be our starting QB at any point during this season.
...I hope not, anyway.
