Dr. Oosterbaan

Submitted by undies22 on
So, I come back from a wedding in PR with some sort of sandbug bites all over my feet and ankles. Bunch of the broads on the trip ran home to their doctors for the same thing, and get prescribed antibiotics for a possible infection these things can cause (and one some xanax due to her freak out over the bites. Broads.) Naturally my wife wants me to take 2 hrs out of my day to make an appt and get some of the cream and antibiotics for the both of us even though she’s at home doing jack shit (broads). I work in downtown Chicago and there is a Northwestern Memorial Hospital location a few blocks from me only I can’t remember the doctor I last saw there. I’m going through the names of all the female primary care physicians on the NMH web site when I run across the name Dr. Rachel Oosterbaan, who works out the s. clark office. Obviously my doctor search stops right there. Her bio states graduate of wayne state university (ehh, but it does increase the chances) and lists her clinical interests as travel medicine (hello, serendipity!) and colon/ rectal disease (future reference?). Turns out that not only is she Bennie’s great-niece, she is also reasonably attractive (don’t let the slightly psycho looking head shot on her page throw you) facially, with a tight body noticeable even underneath her white lab coat, and insane crazy hot legs, which on this particular day were wrapped in black fish nets and unfolding from a skirt which was much more pharmaceutical rep than Tarter alum. Dr. Oosterbaan is one of the few primary care physicians at N.H. who is currently accepting new patients. Needless to say, I highly recommend her.

What mgoblogger wouldn't want an attractive female doctor of the Oosterbaan line as their primary care physician? I mean, jesus, there are so many levels here. I figured her receptionist's switch board would be lighting up with new patients from all over the midwest right now. Instead people find it strange. Noted.

He is 28 years old now, but about 6 years ago he went to a charity dinner and wound up sitting at a table with Navy NCIS's Mark Harmon. He spent the entire night asking him about his his dad, Heisman winner Tom Harmon, and Michigan football. He said Mark Harmon couldn't have been more annoyed.

FWIW, I found this the creepy part: "Bunch of the broads on the trip ran home to their doctors for the same thing, and get prescribed antibiotics for a possible infection these things can cause (and one some xanax due to her freak out over the bites. Broads.) Naturally my wife wants me to take 2 hrs out of my day to make an appt and get some of the cream and antibiotics for the both of us even though she’s at home doing jack shit (broads)." No. Wait. And the other part. That was creepy too.

You know it's bad when you've creeped put the entirety of the WLA. We may be sardonic, and sarcastic, and downright wrong, but wow....just wow. Other than the creepy/wow factor it's hilarious. But still pretty much just creepy/wow.

Well being from Muskegon (as was Bennie) and just transplanted to the Chicago area (also work downtown), I think it is a requirement for me to make Dr. Oosterbaan my PCP. Good post! Know of any dentist with the last name Schembechler? Then I would be set!
