DPJ taking official to OSU this weekend

Submitted by 608Monroe on

Didn't see this posted anywhere.  Not sure it's anything more than an opportunity to check some boxes with his plans to Florida being screwed by the weather.

Still, don't like the idea of urban having another shot at this kid.  He belongs in the winged helmet.

EDIT:  Not sure why reporting news gets the post negged, but neg bomb away if you must.  This is an important get for Michigan.

OSU has 7 WRs in the NFL currently and 5 of them were during the Urban Meyer/Zach Smith era. I feel like that is a decent track record. On top of that I think OSU has been a solid funnel into the NFL in the last 5-10 years.

I love Michigan football and spend as much free time as I have reading about it. It's not enough to read most of the board posts. I can't imagine having enough time to read rival teams blogs, let alone the board, even if OSU is mentioned. Do you not have jobs/school?

What I think I'm asking is, what the fuck are you doing here?

if you post anything other than bashing Rutgers or PSU, you will get negged.  I learned the hard way.

I love this site to death but the censorship is seriously as bad as the great firewall of China.

Problem is way too many people think their stupid random thoughts are original and thread worthy, but they are not. The people that spend a lot of time on here don't want to sift though a bunch of trash threads to read something interesting.

Acts by certain groups probably will lead to clues about threats to us .. the role of our government is to protect us ... not to divide us.. not happening... Exactly ... it's free speech until you have a different opinion... and you know who has played this divisive game for years ..and created this mess, global disrespect and violence.

Jim Harbaugh isn't afraid of anyone, including OSU. Every recruit considering both schools should visit both schools, compare side by side, and choose what is best for them. I think that JH is going to win plenty of those battles. He is going to lose some too. But I want anyone who comes to Michigan to be sure this is where they belong, and not to be living with lots of doubt about whether or not they made the right choice.

I have family there. My dad was from Ohio ... I had an Uncle that lived in Canal Winchester sp? For 90 plus years. They couldnt even imagine why someone from Michigan would visit Ohio let alone play for that type of program. It's a value thing. If he goes, it speaks volumes about him. Then move on ...

but the weather in the Midwest is so horrible. wahhhhhh. I'd take playing in 40 degree weather over eating shingles in 200 Mph winds every other year. amirite?!

For many young people, the facts and sound advice doesn't ring true until he sees (in this case smells) the Darkside for himself. This visit will only further highlight the difference between us and OSU, which I believe will solidly affirm DPJ's decision tree in favor of UM. Without the sadness, one truly doesn't realize the meaning of happiness. Suffer some pain to appreciate the joy,. etc.. etc..
