Far be it for me as a low point member to question someone, but why, pray-tell, should I take any stock in your sources when you've been a member for all of 10 minutes?  Where have you and your sources been since this nonsense started?

I don't think Brandon has to interview Miles or Harbaugh.  He's known them both a long time.  I heard him on a radio interview say that he had a list and he had added and subtracted from it over the months as he learned more about different candidates.

During the press conference It was pretty clear to me that talks with Harbaugh never progressed to Brandon because the "handlers" never could establish he wanted the job.  With Miles I'm betting the "handlers" have established his desire/conditions to come to Ann Arbor and are nailing down all the details.  Brandon either has the authority or has to get it from MSC.  The meeting with Miles will be just a formality (unless somebody pulls back).  Thus, "if offered the job, Miles will likely accept" and that bizarre statement from Miles today.

Who knows what the planes are about.  I wouldn't think BR is the ideal spot to meet with Miles' team but maybe there are others involved.

If Brandon pulls this off, he deserves a lot of credit.  A deal like this is hard as hell to orchestrate, a million things could go wrong and would have gone wrong if some of the arm chair ADs here had been in charge.

Why is everyone so excited about Miles all the sudden?  You want your coach to be ruthlessly made fun of by Orson Swindle every week?

I used to be able to enjoy the Alphabetical, now I'm just going to wince.

Domino's just wanted their damn plane back already, and DB is still in Baton Rouge talking to Miles.

The pieces will come together when we find out where this plane is heading tomorrow.

If a Miles deal gets done, can we please end this "OMG Brandon screwed up the coaching search" meme?  So far he's followed his process while ignoring the rabble-rabbleing masses and I really can't fault anything he's done so far.

Also, which number will be larger:  "Shoelace" references during 2011 season TV broadcasts or Brian Cook "B-b-but Miles is oooooooooold" complaints?
