Do you think Michigan makes the Sugar Bowl? Should Bama play LSU?

SIIIIIIKE!!!!!

The fact that we're even having these discussion is awesome. I don't care if all the speculation is driving people nuts. We haven't been able to speculate for years now. If you don't like it, get off your computer and log back on at 8:30. Go Blue. BEAT OHIO!

(note: I had two videos I tried embedding, they're below.)

The point of this thread is meta. I'm okay with it. Anyway, I think that we should discuss night game jersey sales in Ohio and how they relate to the tide of the rivalry. Thoughts?

........not sure which one. Obviously, if UM makes the Sugar bowl, then that means that Bama is in the MNC. Which leads to..............

...........I don't think Bama should play in the MNC game. While they have an argument as being near as good(and arguably as good) as LSU, the fact remains that they lost to them. Then there is this: While it is generally accepted that LSU/Bama are the two best teams in CFB this year, it is NOT an inarguable fact. Meaning, that unless OkSt. gets it's shot at LSU and the MNC, we won't ever know if LSU/Bama are the best, or are slightly overrated. For the good of CFB, and it's fans everywhere, OkSt. needs to be in that game.

And if that happens, there's a good shot for UM to play in the Fiesta instead of the Sugar bowl.

Sike*, wow. When I was in 4th grade 20 years ago there was no internet. I am beginning to be very thankful that I never subjected anyone to my rambling thoughts back then.

*psych maybe?

Sugar vs. Fiesta: Does it really matter where we end up?

Both bowl games seem to be on an even playing field. They have equal payouts, similar prestige, and are played on primetime . I would give the edge to the Sugar because it is the only game of the day, but that's about it. Of course those who are attending the game will have their own preferences based on location. But all other things equal, which is the better bowl game?
