Diggs named one of Rivals 12 initial 5-stars for 2012
Congrats to Stefon, and I really hope Blake Countess and Coach Hoke can somehow get this kid to AA. I know he seems to be looking to the southern states right now, but let's get him on campus and see what happens.

Wow. I heard he was good, but I didn't know he was top 12. Hopefully Hoke and Countess can get Diggs and Brown to go Blue.

If we can get Wes Brown, I think we have a decent chance at Diggs. I think they have talked about being a packaged deal, but I guess we will see what ends up happening.
Brown's good enough to get on his own regardless of Diggs anyways. It would be a huge coup for us.

I'm not surprised. The kid is a beast, I would love to get him and Brown to go blue.

Although not very plausible I would love to land all 5 offered players at Good Counsel. Amazingly talented bunch of kids.

I don't have paywall access to Rivals but have they announced the initial 12 five stars or does the "12" refer to 2012? All I can see from the front page is that Diggs, Theus and Gray have been given five stars. If you can disclose it, who are the other 9?
Edit: nevermind, I see they're announcing them over the course of the week, 3 a day.

It says they will release all 12 over the next week. Those are the only three they've announced thus far.

Well, it's good to know we've offered 2 of the first 3 guys (Theus as well) they've announced and hopefully have a pretty solid in with one of them.
Not that it really matters, but are these twelve supposed to be in order or just a grouping. Again, not like there's much of a difference between the first five star and the tenth or twelfth.
No order yet, just a group of twelve.
Not to rain on the parade, but there are a few posters on premium boards who claim Diggs really likes the U.
Diggs does like Miami a lot, and would prefer to live in warmer weather in college. However, there are people in his camp that would love to see him in a place with less distractions, and are bigs fans of him going to Michigan, so I think they will get an honest shot at Mr. Diggs.
I will believe it when I see it though. He seems to be in charge of his recruitment, and mentions wanting to get away from the weather in every interview he has given.
Yeah, I'm doubting that Diggs comes to Michigan. I don't know why. It's just a feeling.
But "package deals" usually end up going their separate ways, so losing Diggs doesn't necessarily mean losing Wes Brown, and vice versa.
Hopefully Diggs makes it to a game both at the U and Michigan to see the huge difference in the passion of the fans. One stadium will have a 110,000 fans in it and the other will have plenty of empty seats.
I feel good about our chances of pulling him away from Miami, especially since he is not from Florida.
If Diggs is top 12, where is Green-Beckham? I'd be shocked if Diggs was ranked ahead of that kid.

Well, the rest of the top twelve haven't been released yet.
