DG is solid
Just thought I'd post this article for those who haven't seen it yet:

DG sounds as solid as ever, not that any of us were concerned.

MVictors had the full audio of his interview on WDFN yesterday as well. Again, if you had any fears that he would de-commit at this point they are completely unfounded.

I especially liked how he referenced the "family atmosphere" at Michigan. It makes me want to celebrate by firing up the ol' snowplow and dumping Justin Boren into a snowbank. Not enough to hurt him, of course: just enough to see his pudgy arms and legs flailing away as he tries to extricate himself from his predicament.

With Urban Meyer sniffing around I am always nervous but every indication is that his comitt will hold. Feb 3 cant come soon enough. Just hope he is in a position to red shirt and not see the field until his Soph year.

DG might be thinking about early enrollment. Anyone hear anything similar about that? If true, I would instantly sport a half chub...

I don't believe he is enrolling early.

I guess it is true.
The link is behind a paywall:

Summary:
Inkster never had an athlete that could have enrolled early and they were not aware of the process. A principle at another school is aiding in the process.
So I guess it is not 100%, but there is a chance.

He just sounds like a true competitor from those quotes.
I just can't wait till he get on campus. It seems that he might actually be able to enroll early now as well.

I just checked out the Elite 11 highlights available on DG's ESPN recruiting page, and the difference between his mechanics in that video and both his junior year highlights and what we saw at the end of the Friday Night Lights season were noticeable. Hopefully there is a way for him to get back to that Elite 11 form before arriving on campus, whether that is in January or August.

I really liked how he stated that RR was all over him before he was a well known player and that is why when the other schools came calling he stayed firm on his choice because RR knew how good he was going to be. It says a lot about a kid when he is loyal like that even though he probably could have went to any school in the nation just about. It also says a lot about RR's recruiting to notice these kids before other schools do. If you were one who wasn't thrilled about our lower ranked commits then this should tell you something. RR may not strike gold every time but he has an eye for talent. I am just as excited about Carvin and Ray coming in as I am about Devin. I hope he does get to enroll early. Not saying he will or will not start but at the very least he can make Tate and Denard better by pushing them everyday in the spring.
