I sure hope he doesn't sign an LOI to Tulsa or something.
like MSU.
But Tulsa's football team is like a family. How could a Michigan QB commit resist?
Where's "K inkster High?"
In my pants.
that's what she said.
what do you guys think rr plan is for gardner - backup qb(third or second string) and a little wr, or redshirt?
redshirt qb unless there are injuries.
He'll probably start at LT then switch over to kicker depending on the depth of the o-line. Then, if we're lucky he'll be allowed to play QB.. because that's not what his primary position is or anything..
stuff blocker.
Where he can use his jumpy powers to block field goals and punts and passes and extra points and pop ups and....
"jumpy powers" made me laugh
depth is lacking
Put him at wr for a year this man’s got some ups
dude's got some ups!! If he does play some WR, he'll need to watch out going up like that over the middle of a Big Ten defense. That could be painful. That one handed grab was sick, and it really shows how much of a pure athlete this kid really is. Who cares where he plays, it seems like he's got a wide range of skills that could help us in a number of areas. Thanks for the video, it's stuff like this that makes the summer go by a little faster.
A member of UMGoBlue named MichFan4Life is the one that pointed it out to me and I was wondering if you two were one in the same?
However, great minds think alike.... and so do ours. I bet my tailgate skills are superior, though. No one makes better brats/shishkabobs than yours truly. I always show up to UM games with hours to do it up right before a game. I spent some time with a grilling ninja from Wisconsin, and he put me through the "Kill Bill" training of grilled foods. I am now the master. You guys want the secret to amazing brats? Take a deep metal pan and fill it with sourkraut, chopped onions, bell peppers and beer. Boil the brats in the beer/veggie mix for 1/2 hour. The more beer you drink while it boils, the quicker the time will fly by. After that you pull 'em out and grill 'em until the skin is to your liking. Throw that bad boy on a bun and if you like the veggies, add those too. Best damn brat you've ever had!!! Who's the master? SHO-NUFF!
That catch over the middle reminded me of Sam McGuffie's disregard for his own personal safety. I am hoping he doesn't do stuff like that during games or practices with hitting.
I hope he doesn't change his mind.
He won't, I heard he thinks he's going to come here and start over Tate. Whatever though, let the best QB play. Tate/Denard show this year, Tate/Devin show next yr with Denard being that all purpose player.
Will DG enroll early? I know he has issues with his mechanics, but he could fix a lot of those if he enrolled early. I think he will be able to compete with Tate in 2 years.
Watch some of his older videos and everything was side arm. He throws much higher now, but yes, graduate early and let the U of M coaches get their hands on him.
Can you say: Leak / Tebow = Forcier / Gardner
He sorta looked like he was throwing darts on a few of those passes. The ball sure did get where it was going, though.
Holy shit. The sky is the limit with this kid (seemingly literally at times). I see some hints of Woodson's timing and ups in there. He will make the past Michigan greats proud.
says we're bored in June more than comparing a high school senior to be's camp videos with the best defensive player in college football in the last 50 years.
I take issue with this sir!!!!
Only the last 50 years? Who was better than Woodson 50 years ago (on defense only)?
hello Adrian Peterson!!!!!
Tell him to uncommitt with us so he can earn his fifth star, then committ back.
He even does end zone flips in practice.
*****
As a QB, the ball gets there, but that release point is Whack!
As a WR he looked like a man among boys. He looked like Mike Williams during his USC days, not the fat, slow, uninterested days with the Lions.
Vince Young had a whack release and he won a national championship.
Brian Griese had a whack drinking problem and won a national championship
FDR had whack legs and he won WWII (posthumously)
Point being...I think you're confusing causation and correlation here. Vince Young did win a national championship, yes, but in spite of his mechanics. He is an exception to the rule. It was his raw athleticism that won him the national championship. Unless you're being sarcastic, which in that case...haha
Gardner is quickly becoming my favorite recruit for 2010. I think Ricardo is a stud as well, but Gardner can do it all it seems.
Um...I heard that he was really good...but wow
How is he not a 5-star? I can care less about stars as long as the kid can play, but he seems deserving in that video and other camps he has been dominating.
I don't think the recruiting services have updated their lists in a while. Rivals last update was the beginning of May. The scout guys have recently stated that Gardner is likely the #1 prospect in Michigan.
damn
the thing about this video that caught me off guard is just the overall size of gardner. good lord is that a big ass dude. I love having a QB in the backfield that can shake off some sacks. Remember how big Mallett was but he would just go down like a sack of potatoes.
