I think Denard should be here this week. I remember I read something where him and witty are coming to a2 the week following their graduation.

that he was planning on getting up here shortly after graduation so that he could compete with Tate for the starting job. The others should be here late June as Magnus and I stated earlier due to the start of summer classes. Anybody hear anything lately about Gallon and Fitz's status?

a redshirt year is the most likely outcome? I would think that it would be hard for him to make up all that lost time especially with Roundtree stepping up his game and the addition of Stokes (slot or wide).

If he does qualify and lets hope he does, I don't think res-shirt might be a good idea. We still have Odoms, Roundtree, Robinson is healthy. We also have Teric Jones who is projected to slot position. Like you said we have Stokes who can possibly play both inside and outside.

I don't think it's necessary for Gallon to play this year. I think a well-practiced Odoms, Teric Jones, and Terrence Robinson would be better than a Jeremy Gallon who's new to campus and college football.

Gallon could potentially step right in and return kicks. I think that might be the difference between whether he plays or not. Considering every other skill position player fumbles on kickoff and punt returns, if he can catch the kicks, that gives him a leg up on Odoms, Cissoko, and Shaw.

Now that RR has his players, he can use all this speed to replace the pony express.

Denard is so fast that he'll be able to run past everyone. Tressel won't know what to do because Michigan is turning into a speed team like the SEC.

Plus, on top of that, he's getting "his players"... and you can use 6 Montavious Odoms to knock down Sean Lee... then the other 4 guys can block the Tackles and Tate is "deceptively fast" and will be able to run around in circles for hours with his Barwis training and will walk in the endzone 1 time per quarter.

we're so good!

I saw a guy with dreads pulled over by police for speeding on State Street the other day. The weird thing was there wasn't a car to be found. Could have been Denard. I think Denard was racing Tate, and ya know, the second guy always gets caught. Tate is SUPER FAST!
