Fire a group of people that do the work gratis? LOL.
It probably was deleted because the mod who deleted needed to quit laughing and finish his beer. I know because I was there.

Ha! I remember that fire the mods post! You should've gotten banned for that.

Your contributions are more valuable than those from 99% of the people here. Don't let the above keep you from posting info for the people who want to read it (which is probably the less-vocal majority).

site doesn't need to be he second coming of Mlive or SB Nation or whatever place where detractors congregate to constantly berate, troll and call for the heads of coaches because they failed on any given Saturday. whether the team won or not.
I mean bad results generate more commentary than good results. When you meet expectations, then satisfied we are on our way. Lose, and God forbid what might transpire. I think that's human nature, and it's certainly part of the collective response here. There are so many smart football fans here and witty posters, that snark and criticism should be welcomed along with what you get with it, frustrated, disappointed fans, passionate about their team. And overreaction is always the first response.
But who wants to read a toxic mix of negativity underscoring disappointment about things they have no control over pages at a time. I know misery loves company but there is a limit.
This blog obviously cultivates great fandom and passion, no "fake love" here. it's real and thoroughly genuine borne over many decades, at least in my case.
But if the coach is guilty for not properly preparing his team for certain games, he is also responsible for their mental condition when they fail our expectations and have to hear the blowback from their program commitment while we chastise their mentors and coaches for not doing enough to make them better on the field. And everyone is entitled to express that and any other opinion so long as it's civil and valid.
You wonder why the coach is guarded in most situations dealing with the press and fan base. And its games like last night's that make you question your occupation as coach no matter how much they pay you. Harbaugh is not God. He's a good football coach. He's charismatic. He respects the talents of the people around him and he operates on simple principles he learned from his dad and head coach at Michigan and career experiences.
I expect him to turn things around. And I see no point in burying him and the program midseason for things we can only guess at. The problem with college football is that expectatons for greatness are inextricably tied with perfection, a standard only certain programs rise to, and has eluded this one for quite awhile. I think that's the No. 1 feeling of angst exacerbated by a blowout loss, and it's hard to accept. Still, we play on. So, Go Blue!

The snowflake rules apply to everyone for good reason. Mods can't leave someone's 'FIRE X! BENCH Y!' thread up because they have an early join date, a nice diary post or bunch of e-points. That's a recipe for unspecifiable, unenforceable standards. Not to mention even more snowflake threads and rage when 'joined after a loss' types see someone else's snowflake thread is allowed to stay for obscure reasons.
I hope Mr. Yost eventually returns from Bolivia, he was a great poster. Still, a long-time, active poster should know the rules and understand why the exist as well as anyone.

Look,
I'm going to get banned again because I dared speak the truth.
Brian's site, so he gets to do that.
But do all of you Michigan Men really want to behave like pussies?
Until Brian and his apostles allow you to state the cold harsh truth, here's what you do.
No beveled guilt donations.
Don't click on the ads.
Don't use the sponsors.
This team is regressing. That's all on the head coach. This aint year 1, it's year 3. I'll be banned for speaking this. Don't support those who want to limit what you can say and think they know better than you.

That is all. DO NOT COME HERE AND BE CRITICAL OF MICHIGAN FOOTBAL. Submit ye sheeple and follow the lead of catchafire and create appreciation threads for any objectionable comment (facts be damned}regarding said football program. Just know this and take comfort in the fact that once this offense gels we will be unstoppable and ignore the laughter you hear from across the college football landscape.Your schadenfreude is duly noted.

OP is almost certainly one of those posters that confuses Hawt T4k3z with reasonable posts.

I could not agree more with this post.
The powers that be, and those on the "ins" won't like it, but intellectual honesty around here is nary to be seen, much less heard.
The football team, and its coaches, do not operate that way. Why does this blog get a pass? Supposedly, if you are to believe our real leader, no one person is more important than the team.
Sadly, many on this blog do not seem capable of understanding that concept.

Considering MichiganMan14's post was deleted for failure to comply with the established board rules regarding post game threads/posts/comments. This would generally imply that he thinks he is more important than the rest of us.
Maybe he is more important the rest of us. Maybe he isn't. That's not for me to decide.
