Dee and HaHa

Submitted by Knappster on

Sounds like Dee has been watching Bama practice all week.  Dead period doesn't apply in a case like this, right?

This from Haha...

"I went by there Sunday and it was cool at their practice, but I could only stay for a minute," Clinton-Dix said. "But Dee's been going all week."

Also, Haha now says that he (Haha) is down to Bama and LSU.  Seems like Florida is out of it for the time being.  The circus continues...

If you believe he was motivated by a desire to help, and that he thought that the best way to help was to make comments in public, you can find some amazing deals on swampland if you go to the Gator Bowl.

If jh thought that was the best way to help, I am reminded of one of my favorite movie quotes:

"Listen, if you didn't know you're bein' scammed, you're too fuckin' dumb to keep this job. If you did know, you were in on it."

nah he isn't serious about going anywhere else and he never was.  He talked up ND when he got his offer, even going so far as saying it was ND and bama as his favorites.  Visited bama and committed, then everyone stopped following him.  He saw his buddy hart was getting the attention and has locked onto that attention source since then.  He is a lot of talk

The speculation over Denard leaving if JH comes is based on nothing, and I'm surprised so many people have decided to run with it. It's amazing how many M fans were saying a month ago "Denard is a true QB, he can throw really well, he's not just a runner" and now those same fans are saying "Denard would never want to be a pro-style QB.". Don't those kind of contradict? I believe Denard is a true QB, and if asked to throw more, he'll do it. If RR stays, Denard will throw more and run less, to lessen the hits he takes and because another year of work will improve his mechanics. If JH comes, he will work the O around Denard to am extent, but Luck ran a lot this past year anyway. Compare a junior year Denard to Pryor this year in a pro-style offense. I think we all agree Denard has the better arm, will likely be a better decision maker and a better runner. And I'm sure JH will unleash him more than Tressel does Pryor. In reality, JH might be dying for a QB who is as smart as Denard, is a competent or better passer and has gamebreaking running skills. What coach wouldn't use that?

Thank you for saying what I'm too inarticulate to say. I will paint your house.

Denard is a quarterback, not an option-quarterback. He stands to benefit from Harbaugh, who knows a few things about passing, and who encourages even his lumbering pro-style QB to run. And I'm pretty sure DB would be reluctant to hire a coach who didn't value the most exciting (and, yes, marketable) player in the country. Neither he nor Harbaugh is an idiot.

We all know he is going to Michigan, but just in case he will head somewhere else if RR is fired.  Stop worrying, there is nothing we can do but sit back and wait to see the show.

I doubt it, if hart is this shaky on the decision now what are the chances RR is in the same situation next year?  And if he is in the same situation next year, RRs chances of being retained will drop immensely.

That is what other coaches will be telling hart

I hope my boy Dee makes it up here. He has a great talent for finding the endzone and with all the problems that we've had in that department i'm sure he'd make an instant impact.

I don't care about Dee anymore. And wont unless he actual signs and becomes a player for Michigan Football. The entire thing is silly and tiresome.

I think Dee would be a great player at Michigan, regardless of the coach.

I do think it is silly to speculate on where he is going to play.  However, isn't silly speculation a lot of what sports are about?

I'd love to have him on this team but with each one of these "reports" my confidence in landing him drops more and more. IMHO, I don't think we land him. Hope i'm wrong on this one.

Great prospect, Dee. Nice kid, they say. And I understand why he's waiting on the cc thing. But he's doing everything he can to keep the spotlight on himself. Teenagers do that. Fine. But it's starting to get really tiresome.

If Dee comes to AA, terrific. If he doesn't, well, Harbaugh's team has verbals from 3 four-star RBs. I like his chances re attracting a blue-chip to Michigan. Can you imagine how many NFL-caliber backs will jump at the chance to play, early, for Harbaugh's offense? Child, please.
