Sonny Dykes would've been a very intriguing hire considering he develops solid QBs and well... the SEC doesn't really have any QB reputation atm...

Then again Mizzou under Dykes would probably just be a lesser talented TAMU under Sumlin.

I'm a general college football fan so I like knowing what is going on in other places.  I can root for the one sort of Midwest team in the SEC now as I have a bit of an understanding of them now. ;)

If he works out, post Pinkel they will have 2 coaches in maybe 30+ yrs which is unheard of in this day and age.

he was hoping for gruden.

I think some people are under the impression there are an amazing array of proven coaches out there dying to go to Mizzou.

If Odom works out you have a coach who will be there for 20+ yrs - he is Pat Fitzgerald of Mizzou.

Memphis looks to be announcing tomm too - rumor has it Norvell (OC) from ASU who until this yr was putting up video game #s.

Odom was their 1st choice.

Still no one pushing for Brady !

I will admit that I rather enjoy this too, especially because:

A) Save for one of our own coordinators leaving for an HC post, it really doesn't involve your team in a primary way.

B) So many interesting openings arising throughout and now after the season have made this one very interesting to observe.
