Dave Molk plaque in Michigan Stadium concourse?

Submitted by Wolverine Devotee on June 25th, 2012 at 12:45 PM

Is there anyone who works at the stadium or someone in general that knows if Molk will be getting a plaque on the east side concourse?

Every national award winner from Michigan has a plaque there. Desmond, Harry Newman, Tom Harmon, Erick Anderson, David Baas, Woodson etc.

Since Molk won the Rimington and is Michigan's 78th consensus All-American, he should be getting a plaque like all the others have.

Should be getting a plaque, and I'd guess that they'd probably do some sort of pre-game or halftime ceremony to honor his accomplishment as the official unveiling of said plaque.

While I get what you are trying to insinuate you know you are talking about one of the greatest wideouts to ever play at UM right? This is not a popularity contest. I don't care what Braylon is off the field, all I care about is what he did here. He was pretty damn good here, and to be honest, had a far better career than Molk. Love Dave to death, great player, but we are talking about one of the better players to ever play here .

He could well be further down the WR pecking order than Molk is for centers. You'd have a hard time arguing that Braylon is in front of AC and Desmond, and Molk is probably a top-threeish modern era center here. Either way, Braylon was probably a better receiver than Molk was a center, but I don't think he's orders of magnitude better.
