ESPN says that Dan Mullen, the offensive coordinator at Florida, will be the new head coach at Miss. State.

Wow. I thought Petersen was taking that job. This pick IMO is unpredictable. Mullen is a decent OC but I am not sure how good a HC he is. He might be good at recruiting tho if he recruited Percy Harvin and Timmy Tebow.

eh, mullen has been a florida a couple years, but he's hardly a southerner.
he and meyer have been attached at the hip for ages; should be interesting to see how they do without each other
