I think DG is on the verge of greatness - he could be in the draft next year......but that is enough optimism.....so here goes some overreaction
OMG we will not win a game - our defense can't stop the pass! We're gonna get killed. Also, no pass rush......
Now I feel better - have a great day

The best part was the guy yelling "Dileo!" after Dileo's catch at around 2:20. I just coudn't tell if it was a victory roar or if he was yelling in excitement over being able to see Dileo again, as Dileo clearly just appeared in that hole after removing his invisibility cloak (it's the only possible explananation for a guy finding a hole that big in one of Swag Mattison's defenses).

I like to think that Drew shouts his own name every time he makes a catch.

I still get a chuckle out of the MSU fans melting down after, as they called him, "a midget white dude" lit up their defense with catch after catch.

The one where Avery got pressure on Gardner.
Please, DO NOT EVER PUSH DOWN DEVIN IN A SCRIMMAGE. Never!

similar weight/height, hope he does not bust. I am worried
August 18th, 2013 at 12:37 PM ^
He's a bust...you just jinxed him.

At some point during the season Devin will be running with the ball and will have a wide-open path to the end zone in front of him, but will be caught from behind. 15 seconds after that you'll see posts on MGoBlog by people wishing that Denard was still QB.

Post-Scrimmage Pressers >>> Post-Scrimmage Highlights. (note: "Highlights is bolded...because they are highlighted plays. As in a selected few plays the video staff chose to share).

Done posting for the day. Nonetheless...stop overreacting.

The only thing I have to say about the video is this: Go Blue!!

Not much to say from these highlights except that Justice Hayes is apparently the only player to have earned the right to have his name on the back of his jersey.
I also muttered "nice play Demens" when a screen was all busted up by #25, then quickly realized that I was Dymonte'd.

Also, in every scrimmage highlight they've released over the past 2-3 years, I never see Hayes get more than 2 yards in either direction running. However, I understand they don't show you every play or blocking and etc, I did like what I saw out of his receiving game. Seems like it would be a nice fit as a passing down back

Have any oline coaches or defensive coaches noticed that Glasgow tips when he is pulling?
August 18th, 2013 at 4:03 PM ^
I'm not a coach but I thought this initially too, although after seeing it I thought he was going to pull on a couple other plays based on this and he didn't. He might just have a little bit of a wonky stance.

Sounds fat. He'll never amount to anything unless he loses 20 lbs.
If every player were on a vegan diet with regular colon flushes this team would be so much better.
August 18th, 2013 at 2:57 PM ^
Not only that, but there are too many TOXINS on this team. Everyone needs to get the TOXINS out of their system with the ONE SECRET discovered by a MOTHER WHO DOCTORS HATE.

Made me spit up my beer. Well done.

While this is just a scrimmage... there is no denying that Devin made some really nice throws. One exception, though, was that ill advised desperation heave resulting from having Avery in his face. In a game that's probably intentional grounding. Yeah, I know. Blah blah scrimmage blah. Still not a great decision.
EDIT: On second thought, it looks like he got outside the pocket before throwing, so forget all of that. Devin for Heisman.

What I gathered from the brief video of the scrimmage:
The coaches don't want us or anyone else to know anything of importance about this team.
