Crisler & BB Practice Facility Plans
What's the latest on the plans to improve BB facilities? It was my understanding that after the M Stadium construction was underway, attention was to be put on BB. Clearly the economy is rotten, but we have a nice ~2 year opportunity (hopefully longer) to harness this momentum. I'm concerned that dragging our feet could be more costly than our haste.

I've heard that the practice facility is a go and will be on the docket for the Regents' preliminary approval this month.

last i read, the facility did not get presented to the regents in their Dec mtg (or was in NOV?). not shocking that they present to the next mtg, in Jan.

The plans for the practice facility sound pretty awesome. I think it is going to have all of the coaches offices in there and a lounge for the players and such. Beilein wants it to be their home away from home and have it be really nice so they all want to hang out there all the time and be around each other.
If it is anything close on the scale of niceness the new football facility or stadium are, it should be incredible.

Have we raised the funds for the practice facility? I remember reading like a year ago that we were having a hard time raising them.

...on the rebounding. It's exciting to see this team winning some games, and maybe NCAA-tourney-bound, but, wow, we sure give up a lot of easy points on the boards. But, I guess, after seeing what we've put up with the last decade or so, I'll take what we have.

Remember that we're starting Novak, all 6'5" of him, at the 4 spot. We're just really undersized this year. There's only so much we can do to scheme our way to more rebounds. But we are forcing a lot of turnovers, and that helps to negate that disadvantage.
