Cris Carter claims “to have sources that say Harbaugh is looking for a way out of Michigan”

On First Things First this morning, the former Buckeye states that Harbaugh is looking at the Packers and Browns HC position to try to find an exit strategy from Ann Arbor.

Mighty funny how he drops this the bit of news the day after Urban leaves town. Haven’t heard a peep of this anywhere else. Looks like people in Columbus are realizing we have the best coach in the division now and want him gone ASAP!

Riley will be in the League any year now. Not him. Maybe we should go back to West Virginia well. Rich Rod worked out so well that I'm up to try Holgerson.

Seriously, Harbaugh is here for the long haul. He's got four young kids. He's said he wants to raise them in Ann Arbor. The grandparents moved into town from Wisconsin. There is nothing in his career that suggests he has Larry Brown disease. NFL slappys just can't fathom why a coach might prefer coaching college. And they've been wrong about Harbaugh at every step since he got fired in San Francisco.

Nothing in his career except the data on how long he's lasted at every stop. Oh and the opinion that he tends to wear out those around him .

I'm not disagreeing with you, but to say he sticks around wherever he goes isn't true at all. If anything, he does seem to have Larry brown disease. Most coaches move around a lot.

Duderino:

So, Harbaugh starts at FCS San Diego. Turns them into a big winner. Takes a huge step up and turns a miserable Stanford program around quickly. Gets an NFL opportunity and takes a lousy San Francisco team to the Super Bowl in just a few years. In spite of working for nonentities like Jed York and Trent Baalke. That is a very conventional coaching progression. It isn't coaching wanderlust.

Besides money, why in the world would Riley come here? Its not like Oklahoma is a bad gig and they have enough resources to make salary comparable, he's from nearby Texas, his family lives nearby, he's got a great thing going right now where he's already competing for championships, outside a brief stint at ECU, has never left the region. If he wanted to try the NFL, I could maybe see him leaving, but there is no reason for him to leave to take a different college job.

Mgoscottie--

Tell him on the Normandy trip a huge M $$$ supporter planned a long range sabotage plan for Urban and Zane Smith was the turncoat,  took a huge payoff and eventually put the plan in action.

The end result of intrinsic detailed planning and intelligence work OSU is now run by Don Brown puppet Ryan Day who will share game plans and recruiting strategies with M Director of Special Projects, Zane Smith.

Also, tell him he is STILL an asshole despite his born again reputation bandaid, bondo  and botox campaigns.....

I like Carter's show, but please. A day after his buddy Urbs is leaving, what can he do to help his alma mater's recruiting? Oh yeah, here's an idea. This is always a thing we are going to have to deal with......

Those sources are the demons in his head, the ones that whisper ‘Michigan has more wins, a higher winning percentage, more Big Ten championships, more national championships, better academics, and a higher level of integrity.’
