Craig James out at Fox Sports after One Appearance

James was a very unpopular figure among college football fans during his latter years at ESPN and statements he made during his Senate campaign last year in Texas -- James declared that gay people would "answer to the Lord for their actions"-- were likely unpopular among some in Fox Sports management.

It couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.  Maybe what goes around really does come around.  If you are too conservative and inflammatory for Fox anything, you have really, really screwed the pooch.

While 99% douchetastic, James was the only guy I remember during the coaching change drama to advocate that Michigan hire one Brady Hoke.  So Craig got it right once, at least.

I never understood who James appealed to during all those years. And the 30/30 movie on SMU sure seemed to be a PR stunt by he and Dickerson ...the comments as candidate ... What a scrub. +1 for the Leach line
