They may never see the field this season, but I'm sure that Anthony, Alex, and others on the team contribute in ways that we don't appreciate enough. Best of luck to them this season. I'll be looking for their numbers on the field.

is one of the up sides to the method of captainship that Hoke is going after.  There's plenty of leaders among the seniors and having them all united in their approach to leading the team, as shown by these two walk-ons, is what makes Team 135 so special.

has been mentioned several times this off-season as something that they are really working hard to improve. From my personal experience of football, the best teams I played on were the ones that had some kind of bonding that really made everyone close. I was on a team that traveled to another state and spent extra time the night before goofing around the opposition's campus as a whole group with no coaches. We had so much fun that night that it really loosened us up and really brought us together. The next day we won 42-6 and it was all because we were together in a sense that we hadn't been all season. There's something about that that really translates on the field.

Team chemistry has definitely been a common theme in the offseason and in the CTK videos, but after some of the action items that came out of interviews back in December and January, I think we would be concerned if this WASN'T being talked about every day and every practice. I've said it before, but this is a team brimming with talent just about everywhere, and getting them to play as a team can only mean good things for the season.

Like every year I'm nervous up to the week of the opener and two days before I get a rush of "let's go". Let's go!!!!
