Countdown to Kickoff - 27 Days Left
Coaches preparing for the start of practices, sometimes two 4-hour meetings a day. Very cool to get an inside look. I think sometimes when discussing how well the coaches are doing we assume that if something goes wrong it's because they haven't thought something through completely, but they clearly put in a LOT of preparation.
Sounds like everyone is chomping at the bit to get this season underway in Schembechler Hall just like everyone is here.
Also a mention of improved tackling mechanics being on the agenda in fall practices.
And of course, link: http://mgoblue.com/Multimedia/MultimediaCenter.aspx?id=182270&categoryI….
... I think this also shows the importance of having harmony among the coaching staff. Everybody from last year keeps emphasizing how the coaching staff is "on the same page" or "working together" or "bought in". You can see how difficult it would be to work with/for someone you don't have faith in/trust, when you have to be in a room with him for 8 hours a day.
8 = 18.
It's not surprising to me that the defense ended up the way it did when we consider just how bad the relationships were on staff. That seeped to the players, and the bad play resulted.
Remember that Shafer resignation letter? The more I think about it, the more it was a shot at the remaining staff. Thankfully these guys are getting along now, and Robinson is mature enough and far enough along in his career, hopefully, to keep the chemistry at a good level throughout the year.

8 hours a day sitting in the same room, but probably closer to 18 hours a day total that these guys have to work together during the season I'm sure. Last year I thought the chemistry looked alright in the videos, but in comparison to this year it seems like everyone was a little bit anxious. This season everyone just seems pumped up.

I love a Coach with a good shinner. I would especially like to see 2 of them on Dantonios face around October 3rd. That would be cool

I understood you. You saw Rod Smith with a black-looking eye. They also said that he had eye surgery at the end of the video, so that is why he has it, I'm guessing. I agree, though, I would love Dantonio to have two of them.

It looks like he questioned the power of Zoltan...and was humbled.

Not that I wish bad on anyone but if lil D were to get knocked out by one of our players finishing a tackle I wouldn't mind.
Does anyone else think that the mgoblue media center sorta sucks? I always have problems with it and I am very update in hardware and software.
Awesome sentence +1 for you sir.
Are you sure you didn't mean to put this in the GSI thread?
Tell me you're not going to post the same thing day-by-day for the next 26 days. Don't get me wrong, I like updates, but I think we all know about "countdown to kickoff".
He was asked to make these daily posts so that we wouldn't have multiple threads about the daily video. I don't mind talking about the video every day. I look forward every morning to it. Actually I wish we could have had something like this back in 97.

I was hoping for a good explanation, thanks for providing it! If this helps prevent multiple threads on this topic then post away my friend!
He was asked to do it.
