Countdown to Kickoff - 14(!) Days Left
Two, count 'em, TWO weeks until the season starts folks!
Today's feature is on the linebackers... not much else to say about it. They sound like they're getting along with GERG pretty well, and they acknowledge that they weren't always on the same page last year. This year that's supposedly been cleared up. Let's cross our fingers and hope so!

I hope they come out of the gates strong against WMU and win big! Maybe a Big Ten Championship isn't too far out of the picture.
Back to reality....
Seriously though, I'm excited for this team. I just want to see a solidly played game on Sept. 5. If this defense can be above average I think the team can do quite well this year.

Anybody who is a computer whiz kid .. is there anything i can do to make this 1min 19sec video not take 12 minutes to watch ?
I hate to complain because i am grateful to get a look into what is going on ... but the video player has more hesitation moves than Steve Nash.

I never have any problems with it. Could be your internet connection or maybe the internet browser. I'm using Firefox and it works fine.

I generally have to pause it after it starts playing to let it buffer. Then I go and read some mgoboard posts and then come back to it.

The best way I've found is to just go to MGoBlue.com and watch it in the small player on the right. Most of the time I can't get it to play in the Multimedia center... it just doesn't make much sense for me to link to MGoBlue.com, as there's always a link in the "M on the Net" group on the left side of MGoBlog.

I have seen the Block M has claimed the Countdown to kickoff but living in S. Korea I am up and basically see it posted everyday. Then I wait to see how long it takes to see it hit the board. It is my fun little game. Today it was around 5 hours.
As for the video today not much action that we haven't seen but it is great to hear from Obe and see the leadership that he has brought to the table this year. They also all sound pretty confident in the system.

Yeah, normally I wake up at 6:45 and post it before I leave for work. Today being a Saturday, I had no motivation to get up that early. Once or twice I've gotten to bed after midnight and it's already been up when I check MGoBlog for the last time...

I think that we could have a good year from our linebackers this year. I think Ezeh, Mouton, and Fitzgerald are going to be really impressive this year. I have also heard that Demens and Smith have been looking good in reserve roles too. It will be interesting to see how Stevie Brown performs this year, hopefully his new position will be good for him.
