Could Michigan win tomorrow with me as the QB?

Submitted by 1464 on

Seeing as Jake Rudddock may or may not be healthy enough to start tomorrow, I felt this would be an appropriate question.

If I were to start as the QB for Michigan tomorrow and play the entirety of the game, would Michigan still win?

I guess in this exercise, my abilities as a QB are probably pretty inconsequential.  For a random person off the street, I'd be a 8.5/10 in terms of QB abilities.  You probably wouldn't mind having me on your flag football team, but I wouldn't wow anyone either.  In terms of a college QB, though, I would be a -6/10.  I don't know the scheme.  I haven't played organized football in 13 years (and 50 lbs).

The real point of this post is to determine whether people think that Michigan can pull off a win despite any and all shortcomings at the QB position.  Should we be worried if Jake is in street clothes, or should we still be able to shrug it off and expect a comfortable win?

It depends...give me your mesurables.  I need to know things like:

- How many throws do you complete to stangers across State St, during pre-game tailgates?

- What's your beer pong make %?

- Is your name Gary Nova?

- Do you eat steak and drink whole milk daily?

- Have you ever thrown a football with 110,000 people watching?

- How's your butt?

but Berman spoke truth when he said "that's why they play the games".

All people who, like me, love stats, must remember this.
