I don't think I have ever seen (I know someone will scour Google to prove me wrong) a conference schedule where they sandwhich games like that in the span of a couple weeks. Home and Home's with Indiana and MSU, and oh by the way, here's an extra slice of balogna in the middle.

It will be nice not to have to travel to OSU or Maryland.

That's a much more interesting non-conference schedule than last year.

Random notes: The game at South Carolina is Thanksgiving Eve. And we play MSU at Crisler on my birthday...not that anyone cares but that's notable for me.

I feel like I'm more satisfied with this year's non-con than last year's schedule... but it could be better for sure.

at first I was like, what's that? But before I even clicked on google, it hit me, UMES is the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. It's not the same as the University of Maryland University College (a real thing, and a really redundant thing.) I'll give this to the state of Maryland, they really know how to name their universities.

can't watch the Tigers when they are winning the division and going to the World Series.

There are boring things (waiting in a layover at an airport), really boring things (watching The Walking Dead), really really boring things (sitting in a big traffic jam) and then there is watching baseball.  The first three can be begrudgingly tolerated from time to time.  The baseball thing, nope, that's not going to happen.

late tips are horrible for someone who travels 100 miles each way and works days. In B1G 3 of the 4 weekday games are either 8:30 or 9:00pm tips.  Of course Texas is a 9:00 pm.  20 year plus season ticket holder and this is about as bad as it gets that I can recall.

I'll be in Columbia for the So. Carolina game. About a 7 1/2 hour round trip, but it's still a heck of a lot closer to the ATL than Mich MBB or football usually travel
