I listened to his show briefly this morning. Thought he said he was live at Ingalls mall from 10-1, and that they would be taping SportsNation at 3-4 and airing it at 4, so you could make the taping of it I believe. If rain doesn't hold off he said they'd go inside to the theater, but he didn't state which one (maybe Hill Auditorium?).

Edit: Maybe it is live now that I look at their twitterpage.

is a first class d-bag. he knows nothing about sports and only gives opinion to generate buzz. he hates michigan for years and now he loves us when his joke of a show is visiting AA. f him and that skank he's bringing with him.

Cowherd was talking about Babe Ruth playing in 1908 and said U of M was barely founded then. Someone in the crowd yells "(U of M was) founded in 1817!"

Cowherd then sheepishly admits "officially founded in 1817," and then moves on after a few seconds of silence. I really need to turn this off until 12:30 when RR comes on.

He started talking about Vick.  Then he tried to localize the topic by saying that Denard was a wild card to compensate for lackluster personnel compared to OSU.  Like this is some science experiment or something.

If you all are like me and can't be in your car for Rich's 12:30 interview, here's a link:

But I actually like Cowherd.  I don't get to listen to him often but I'm definitely streaming it at work today.

He is the most (brutally) honest national radio host that I'm aware of, which I appreciate.

I don't dislike him because he has hated on Michigan in the past.  I dislike him because he sits behind his microphone and dispenses little nuggets of wisdom as if he is some sort of ancient sage oracle.  Complete BS.  He literally referred to himself as "a liferaft of sanity amidst a sea of misery" at the end of his show the other day.  I only heard it because I was waiting for SVP to start.

True this. He'll also state something the he thinks is excellent material, then find five different ways to repeat it with different analogies for the next ten minutes, followed by a phone call from someone who disagrees with him, whom he will cut off in mid-sentence as they argue poorly one of the better points of his arguement. Then he we say, "these are the types of mouth-breathers who disagree with me. C'mon, get out of your mom's basement."

Anyone with an actual arguement who disagrees with him is never given airtime. Unless it's Herbstreit, in which case Colin will backpeddle and, "you have a good point..."

He's a real intellectual.

I do like how he compares things to real life by analogy.  He reminds me of a lounge lizard from a really uppity frat where guys are all geared towards talking intellectually.  Like that preppy group in "Animal House".  It is a nice change of pace from my dive bar routine.

But I gotta take him in small doses.

Colin just said that there is a reason why DQ is not doing very well in Anchorage(Alaska).  What a BS, i have lived in Anchorage for several years and DQ is doing great. Cant wait to hear RR in 30 min. Go Blue!

per wikipedia: Born Oct 23 1975. Is an avid dog lover and there is no mention of any relationship. Favorite team houston astros.

bottom line guys: start walking an adorable puppy around campus and randomly walk into her while wearing a astros shirt.

You're in like flint.

I stopped in twice today to watch the taping. First was between 10 and 11 when he rambled about the Yankees and such, then he said RR would be there at 12:30 so I made sure to come back then. The second time there was a much larger number of people there and the crowd was more into it. The RR interview went well, and I managed to give him a handshake and a "Go Blue" as I left to head back to Markley.
