Coach Rodriguez v. Western Michigan

I don't think this is relevant at all (No Steve Slaton or Pat White had emerged at UM yet) to tomorrow but I am so fired up that I will post it anyway! WVU beat WMU 62-24 in their home opener during Rich's final season. http://espndb.go.com/ncf/recap?gameId=272440277 I really think the team is going to come out fired up tomorrow. The offense will probably start slow but we should be able to run all over them. Hopefully our offense can limit mistakes and we make some plays on defense. GO BLUE!!!!

While I don't think RR's last year at WVU gives us a ton of insight into how this year's game against WMU will go, I think this season will be his chance to prove to everyone that he really is an elite coach. If he can bring this team to an upset or two, doubters will be silenced.

I am in a house right now on vacation with my 5 immediate relatives (4 of whom are big MSU fans) and I seriously am so excited for Michigan to just destroy WMU and Tate to dominate and everything to click just right. To be honest I hate to say it but I'm a little bit anxious that it'll be closer than "it should be" or whatever. However I'm not anxious of that for the future of the team as I know we're headed in the right direction and will be back soon, I just don't want to put up with the jeers for the next 3 days from fans of a mediocre football team who play a nobody tomorrow.

Tate is far better of a passer than Pat White was as a freshmen. He may not be as fast, but he is definately a much more accomlished passer at the same age. I love wikipedia: "Patrick was voted 3rd in the Mr. Football for Alabama his senior high school season. His senior season he rushed for 1,905 yards and 31 touchdowns at Daphne High. He also passed for 1,488 yards and 15 touchdowns."
