It may be tough to find a big name DC with this many job openings.  Alabama, OSU, Michigan, Georgia, and Miami are all looking for DCs and there are likely other major teams in the market I'm forgetting.  Harbaugh has a great track record with DC hires including Fangio, Durkin, Shafer, as well as Anderson at Stanford who he hired as a LB coach and is now their DC but I don't know how flashy a name it will be.

I was actually thinking about that today - there are all these DCC threads, but with so many openings and so many staffs to create, part of thinks we might see someone who, while an excellent and Harbaugh-worthy hire, is probably a name that makes people initially say, "Wasn't he the DC at....oh.....where was it again?". Not that I mind, but these positions will likely fill up almost as fast.

The graphics are a little off.  "Tulane" is closer to Nicholls State and "UCF" is closer to Bethune Cookman College.  But it's still cool...

Alabama and Oregon just lost key coordinators.  OSU and MSU lost key coordinators last year.

We need to stop whining and acting like this is all about us.

This stuff happens all the time.  It's part of the business.

True.  Can you imagine what it must be like for fans and administrators at coaching incubators such as Bowling Green, WMU, NIU, etc.?  Just about the time you think you have something ... *poof* ... they're off.
