...tried to ice the CMU kicker TWICE at the end. That is lame, and it cost them--it shows no confidence in your team. CMU coach went for the win at the end, didn't convert, but then CMU recovered the best onside kick you will ever see. He showed a lot of confidence in the Chips in going for the win. As we like to say in Ann Arbor: Same Old Sparty! Based upon what I've seen thusfar in the UM-ND game, no way Sparty beats the Irish. Ah, 1-2 would be a great start for the team some thought would contend for the Big 10 title. ;)

I was at the game (Being a Central student) and I have to say MSU is NOT a good team by any means. Their defense was mediocre and worst yet was that their offense was consistently being stopped by a defense that ranks among the WORST in the MAC. That said, it was one hell of a game and I am proud of my Chips. They left it all out on the field and I am so glad they beat those cocky Spartans. Like Wolverine in Exile said, Pride Comes before the fall and boy did they fall hard!

Fire Up Chips! My Dad is a CMU Alum, he was at the game, enjoying every second of it! Per a bet, his friend, an MSU Alum, had to buy him an ice cream sandwich at the end. ;) He's been at every CMU victory in Spartan Stadium.

... all the sanctimonious Sparty faithful talking about a possible Big 10 championship or going 10-2 or somesuch. They are clearly going to get b-slapped by the Irish. I fully expect Charlie the Whale to drop a 50-spot on them. Dantonio is a humorless, souless, pointless douchebag. Bow down little brother and go back to your room.

It's so hard not to chuckle at Sparty. Now they have to go into ND. I know that they play well there, but I think ND is going to send them to 1-2. They will now look at the Michigan game as the salvation to their season.
