"There wasn’t a dry eye in that entire locker room after that speech. The speech not only inspired us but it reminded us that we play for something far greater than ourselves. We play for all those that have played, will play and never be able to play again – like him."

I'm excited to experience "The Game" for the first time inside Ohio Stadium while rocking the Maize n' Blue! Even more interesting will be tonight when I'm working in the ED stitching these OSU idiots who jump into mirror lake...Go Blue Beat Ohio!

was a key part of the 97 NC team, even though the defense somewhat overshadowed the O. I remember Brian Griese was VERY good at hitting him in stride out of the backfield, and Howard picking up some key yardage, 1st downs, etc. Tough, hard-nosed runner between the tackles with just enough speed to hit the edge.
We had a few 'unsung heroes' on that team, and IMO Chris Howard was one. Chris Floyd another.
