Chris Dunkley Commits to Bama (or not, its Florida)

Submitted by Drake on
Per his facebook status "ITS BaMa ROLL TIDE" . Someone then asks if thats where hes going and he says yea. Its a surprise for me because I thought he was pegged to go to FSU. Michigan wasnt really in the running and it doesnt hurt that much seeing how we have 5 WR commits atm, but he is a talented WR and would be the best of our commits if he had choosen M. *EDIT*announces that he will go to Florida in UA game, I'll just neg myself for fb stalking

I was one of the people who had thought he was a silent Florida commit, but whatever, FSU or Bama I don't care as long as the gators don't get him.

Chris Dunkley and Kenny Shaw were in my Orlando living room New Years Eve and I was quite impressed with both. Chris is very outgoing and he told me his parents made the decision for him. His dad was a soccor player in Jamaica and Dad could probably still beat him in a race. He also told me how they would roll up and down the dikes that surround Lake Okeechobee for conditioning. I am surpride that he came out because he was looking forward to doing it on TV. Both told me that Tenn was out because they were going to be in trouble for "Female Hosts". Kenny Shaw I think will commit for FSU but he told me he was going to "Shock the world" so maybe UM has a chance. Take a look at the Orlando Sentinel today and you will see Ash rated above Dunkley in the Florida Top 100.

Whole Meyer stunt exactly that? Pure speculation on my part, if the man truly has something wrong with him my prayers go out to him. But it seems that a lot of recruits have been going Meyer's way recently, one would expect the opposite. Did all this media attention help him look like a more god fearing/family man to recruits and their families?

Yes, he pretended to have health problems to make everyone think he's a family man. When you've won two national championships in the last four years, it's hard to get respect in the college football world.
