He's blue. No question. He can't stop talking about Harbaugh...this was the first one:
Man Michigan getting their man I'm so stoked !!!!!
— Chris Clark (@Clark8Chris) December 28, 2014
...and why WOULDN'T Clark want to come to Michigan? Look at the TEs he coached at Stanford, look at Vernon Davis (the 49ers leading receiver)...he'd be a perfect fit along with Jake Butt and Bunting.

Trying to figure out how you quantify "leading receiver"... hmm, being 5th on the team in yards and 4th in receptions makes you a leading receiver. All hail NORFLEET - Michigan's leading receiver in 2014

Harbaugh

Clark trolled MSU so hard the first committment - went to MSU the night before UM, said LOVED MSU on twitter, got their fan base in a tizzy - then immediately committed to UM.

Sounds like he might be a priority of the new staff.
Expect Harbaugh to evaluate and recruit the tight end position right away at #Michigan. Most important position in his offense.

Also, heck yeah for getting recruits back on board!!
December 29th, 2014 at 11:09 AM ^
He's on the plane with Harbaugh...they won't get back until this evening.
I'm sure they'll all go out to dinner and then the Harbaugh's will go settle in and continue a few more drinks.
Regardless of how excited you are, it's always tough to leave a place you love and he has to prepare for a new job tomorrow.
He's got to get a staff and start recruiting and come up with a speech. I mean, sleep is going to be very hard to come by for the next week.
Presser tomorrow and then go to the basketball game that night.

Will #Rivals100 TE @Clark8Chris look at #Michigan if Harbaugh ends up in Ann Arbor? "You bet." @rivalsmike pic.twitter.com/GXi9wanM3x

Brian Cole on Jim Harbaugh: "It's a blessing bc my dream has been to make it to the league. I'm going to play my butt off."

Is Clark wearing Captain America gloves?

I would take Roquan Smith. #4 OLB and #46 overall.

Can we not add the "MF" moniker to Jim Harbaugh? We used that for Jake Ryan, cool with that. But Jim can stand alone on his name. osu already uses 'F' in between Meyer's initials, and I'd rather not be like them at all in this regard.
Just my opinion.

Let's keep the class for Michigan and let tosu wallow in the gutter that is Columbus.
Edit: I did not realize Urb's middle name is actually Frank. None the less, I still think it shows more class to not use the MF. We must respect the master, JH the King!

Please let it die now that Jake is gone...
December 29th, 2014 at 12:00 PM ^
And just to be clear, that did not start with Jake Ryan, it was used with Jack Johnson before that (Michigan hockey player).
December 29th, 2014 at 11:14 AM ^
Not sure if he can call them but sure of no face to face at least until Jan 15th.
Also very important to recruiting is an announced staff.
December 29th, 2014 at 11:33 AM ^
He can call, text, email, Snapchat.... and I really hope he does all of these things.
December 29th, 2014 at 12:10 PM ^
"Hello?"
"Mike? Jim Harbaugh. How are you?"
"Good coach, and you?"
"I'm good Mike. Just got a question for you. Do you want to play with me or against me? Hope to see you in Ann Arbor."
Click.
Substitute any recruit's name in there....Clark, Kirkland, etc. Can you imagine an 18 year old kid experiencing THAT?
December 29th, 2014 at 10:35 AM ^
Once he meets Harbaugh, he's going to re-commit.
December 29th, 2014 at 10:36 AM ^
Once again...Josh Rosen has said, no, and he'll enjoy at UCLA on the 5th.
Damien Harris has also said he would respectful decline any contact from Harbaugh.
December 29th, 2014 at 10:44 AM ^
I don't understand why Harris wouldn't want to at least entertain a call from Harbaugh. He committed to Michigan once, so he obviously likes the school.
Can somebody explain this? Is it really all about Borges?
December 29th, 2014 at 10:50 AM ^
...and he values relationships with coaches. He developed a great relationship with Borges. Then he developed a relationship with the coaches at OSU and Alabama. He probably just doesn't want to start over.
December 29th, 2014 at 10:51 AM ^
it was all about Borges. If he left on his own, Harris may be in fold, but being fired the way he was ended it for Harris for some reason.
December 29th, 2014 at 11:23 AM ^
But none of the people involved in that are around anymore. I would hope he'd be able to look past it.
December 29th, 2014 at 10:40 AM ^
I'd hope he'd reconsider us. Harbaugh likes to use Tight Ends.
December 29th, 2014 at 10:52 AM ^
my friend, so do I.

December 29th, 2014 at 10:47 AM ^
I wouldn't expect guys who have been decided/committed for a while (like Rosen) to listen at this late point, but a TE that isn't decided and had been considering Michigan before? You'd have to be nuts not to at least listen considering Stanford's record of putting TEs in the league that Harbaugh played and/or recruited there, particularly Fleener, Ertz and Toilolo
December 29th, 2014 at 10:48 AM ^
This, too, shall Happen
December 29th, 2014 at 10:48 AM ^
I think JH can salvage a decent class this year and look out moving forward.
I sure would like a second QB in this class if we can find a good one. We need all the help we can get at QB. The rest of the team is pretty solid.
